The President in Paris

Today in Paris

President Obama is in Paris for the climate accord treaty talks. This morning, he participated in a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Later in the morning, he participated in the “COP21” climate change talks opening ceremony.

In the afternoon, the President will attend a lunch hosted by President Francois Hollande of France. Afterward, he will participate in a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India.

Later in the afternoon, the President will participate in an event with Hollande, Prime Minister Modi, other leaders and members of the private sector. In the evening, the President will attend a working dinner with Hollande.
