The rage I was feeling this week at the endless shootings, Congressional corruption and downright idiocy of the American people was making me sick, so I’m going to see if there’s an holiday spirit to be had that doesn’t involve a mall. FTR I will be working M-Fri mornings daily up to the end of the year and into early January. Someone at one of my on-call work places had to take medical leave and I was ‘it’ to absorb a section of their work load (negotiated my way out of the full load). If, unfortunately, the medical issue is not resolved by early January I’d get tapped for longer. Here’s hoping all goes well for them! Meantime, I’m only going to be able to make it to the village to annoy some of you in the afternoon hours (if I don’t have to take work home). Amk, maybe you can rearrange your sleeping hours so that you can be on hand to be annoyed?
BTW, sorry to note somewhere that you amkian guys missed the reception but glad that you, and yours, were able to remain dry during all that’s been happening around you.
