Liberals like Lawrence O’Donnell think Trump is finished now because he has become so extreme, and that this is Trump’s own exit strategy. They really don’t understand that Trump’s goal is to lead an American fascist movement.
I love the cartoon! Also, it’s not just the GOP/ISIS that want a freak out. The so-called librul media plays a major role, and are enabling the likes of Trump and the GOP. I found myself having to challenge quite a few of them on Sunday night after PBO’s speech.

I saw on NBC nightly news the other night, some tool of a journo was pushing for boots on the ground. then that was of course backed up by some stupid poll supposedly saying how much americans wanted another Middle East ground war (yeah, right).
2 takeaways: 1) Thankful for sites like this that don’t cowtow to the fear or media narrative of the day. 2) disregard any, and all polling from now until at least next january.

I remembered this from Dr. MLK and thought of what Trump is doing. Not much has changed. I just removed Sen Goldwater with Trump.
GOP went with Goldwater in 1964. The ONLY Freak out from GOPers now is that they remember 1964. They are hoping that the US Media would help them to confuse the Public,……. nearly 45% of GOPers agree with Trump without equivocation. There are leaners and persuadables. Ditto Heads and Followers will fall in line……just as Paul Ryan and Co have stated that they will support their nominee. If they mean business, then they will Kick Trump out, Now!

The Republican Party geared its appeal and program to racism, reaction, and extremism. All people of goodwill viewed with alarm and concern the frenzied wedding at the Cow Palace of the KKK with the radical right. The “best man” at this ceremony was a senator whose voting record, philosophy, and program were anathema to all the hard-won achievements of the past decade.
Senator Goldwater had neither the concern nor the comprehension necessary to grapple with this problem of poverty in the fashion that the historical moment dictated. On the urgent issue of civil rights, Senator Goldwater represented a philosophy that was morally indefensible and socially suicidal. While not himself a racist, Mr. Goldwater articulated a philosophy which gave aid and comfort to the racist. His candidacy and philosophy would serve as an umbrella under which extremists of all stripes would stand. In the light of these facts and because of my love for America, I had no alternative but to urge every Negro and white person of goodwill to vote against Mr. Goldwater and to withdraw support from any Republican candidate that did not publicly disassociate himself from Senator Goldwater and his philosophy.

The show, televised on HBO, also served as the final date of the veteran Irish band’s Innocence and Experience Tour.
And it provided a highly visible platform for the reappearance of the Eagles of Death Metal, the Palm Desert group that was playing Nov. 13 at the Bataclan in Paris when terrorists burst into the concert hall and opened fire, killing 89 audience members.
“Now there’s nothing left except to introduce you to some people whose lives will forever be a part of the city of Paris,” Bono said after U2 closed Monday’s set with its song “One.” “These are our brothers, our fellow troubadours. They were robbed of their stage three weeks ago, and we would like to offer them ours tonight.”
Then he welcomed the Eagles of Death Metal onstage to lead a rousing rendition of “People Have the Power” by Patti Smith, who had joined U2 for the same song on Sunday.

“Donald Trump sounds more like a leader of a lynch mob than a great nation like ours,” said Nihad Awad, national executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
“These are not just words… Trump and Carson’s mainstreaming of Islamophobia in the election is inciting discrimination, hate crimes, violent attacks against Muslims and mosques.”
The pro-Jewish Anti-Defamation League said the plan was “deeply offensive and runs contrary to our nation’s deepest values.
“In the Jewish community, we know all too well what can happen when a particular religious group is singled out for stereotyping and scapegoating.”

I don’t understand why Dems are just talking about Trump this issue is the total mindset of the Republican Party, everybody knows regardless what happens their group always comes out to vote. We should continue to tie all this nonsense to Repubs and get the Dems out in full force to vote or all this would just be noise
