Thanks so much for this heads up, df. I’d been checking stonekettle pfor weeks hoping for a post then gave up. Thank goodness he’s lent us his sanity again. Voices like his and the ones on this blovid 😊 site should be reimbursed through my insurance company. These days I’m fairly convinced they’re all that’s keeping me functioning.

I myself mostly enjoyed watching the Knicks trounce the Bulls.

In ’08, intra-party debates helped separate the wheat (Barack Obama) from the chaff (everybody else). No comment about this year’s debates:)

Hillary focused her attacks on the GOP, mainly Trump, a sign of confidence. That’s where they should be directed. She has been faithful in her support of the ACA and Pres Obama, unlike Sanders and O’Malley. She won this easily.

i hope that once the voting starts this will change for our sake
i meant that the enthusiasm for DEMs of the 2016 election has to pick up…..generally…not just here at TOD but nationwide……because we have to get out the vote…
I don’t blame anyone to be honest Prettyfoot, these debates are kind of meaningless, we all know Hillary will win the nomination, the only debates that will matter are her against Trump or whoever.
i understand…i think it is a combo of the reality that no one can take the President’s place…and although i know that in my heart and mind…it is like a dousing of cold reality to actually see it playing out on the stages of the Democratic debate..it just saddens me…
January 2017 is a heartbreaking prospect Prettyfoot, we all know that, but while I doubt anyone here will ever have the same enthusiasm again for a President, everyone knows what’s at stake in the next election - not just keeping out a deranged GOP, but preserving PBO’s legacy. The Dem nomination is a foregone conclusion, so that’s why there’s no great interest in the debates outside of the Hillary and Bernie camps. Come voting time in 2016, though, I’m sure everyone will do their duty.
