I don’t know about Don’s son, but my nephew was so excited, he looked like he could sprout wings and fly! I’m so glad I had him watch all 6 of the other movies. His big sister, my bodybuilding phenom of a niece, hadn’t seen even one Star Wars movie (she’s a busy woman… I forgive her) and she loved it too! :-)

I liked the the First Three Chapters, namely…Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and my favorite Return of the Jedi. i saw one of the 2nd 3….i was not impressed…did not see the other 2….i am looking forward to see this episode…the Force Awakens…

I let out a little squeal when, to my complete surprise, I read that Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of the musical Hamilton, wrote two songs for the cantina scene in The Force Awakens. I found this video on Twitter with some background about it from The Force Awakens , JJ Abrams. So cool! :cool:

I was used to that when I lived in Orlando - they set off fireworks on New Year’s Eve at the theme parks. Looked pretty from a distance, but they also set them off every other week, so they kinda lost their luster. :)
That was one of the very first things Jan Brewer did when she became Gov after Janet Napolitano went to DC…made fireworks easier to get because..we should ALL be free to blow our hands off or put out an eye! Idiot that she is…

A few years ago a young boy here died when a stray bullet came through the tin ceiling in his church’s fellowship hall, during New Year’s Eve Watch Night service, and hit him in the head. So tragic. I don’t if they ever got the fool who did the shooting. If not, I hope his life is miserable forever.
The real shooter never knows. They’re mostly shooting up in the air.

Donald Trump has been absolute and clear that he will not touch either Medicare or SS and that includes keeping the age eligibility as it is.
Apart from racism, Trump is winning favor by protecting these social programs.
Unlike the establishment GOP.
His supporters hear economic security for themselves while discriminating against everybody else. Winning!!!
The Donald is saying, “What is yours is yours. You worked for it and deserve it. I will make sure it is safe for you. ”
This is why he will beat every (R) who opposes him.
When a (D) says the same thing it doesn’t resonate as well with racists because they want what is theirs, but don’t want others to share in good things, too.
