Merry Christmas Eve Chips, Desertflower (winner of the gold), and all of TOD! That photo put a smile on my face! Kids are coming this afternoon, and I’m still cleaning up from the stupid window frame painting job. Keep telling myself to focus on the the bright side. :)

Hello GGail-gooooooaaaol! Hugs back at ya! It’s 75 degrees here on the eastcoast, not even wanting to think what the heck is coming. Just enjoying the day. Rain stopped, ran fun errands, now trying to clean house & doing the 29 year cheers, or is it just 29 cheers! ;)

And I wish you East Coast folks would give us back our warm weather and take this 30 & 40 degree weather back.
Yep, listening to great music my son sent to me, and pretending to clean house! Darn, cold on westcoast? Sorry, not sharing just yet! Payback is going to come to us soon enough! Bundle up, hot toddies for you, Mojitos for us? Or something equally pretty. Sending warm thoughts your way! My lovely son is out your way, and he’s not into cold weather, but not totally into my love of tropical climes. This Xmas Eve is right up my alley. I’m claiming it as my gift from the powers that be! :)

I agree with BernieAfter that birther B.S. of Trump, he should not even thought about running for President.
When Trump announced, he was registering at 4%.
Cablers and TV starting covering him 24/7 with every breath Trump takes. They mainstreamed Trumpism with Birtherism and the mainstreamed his lies, distortions and they gave him ‘Reality TV’ status in Politics……….by rewarding crass, racism, bigotry, Xenophobia, sexism, nativism, etc as cover for authenticity.
That pretty much sums it up, Nena. The media is in love with Trump and think of him as a an easy way to earn a living without thinking. They just cover everything he says as if it were golden and never have to analyze or research anything.
Crazy busy today: baking, wrapping, decorating and a party later… whew! I’ll have more time to hang out the rest of the week.

MS, I know exactly how you feel. I thought I was farther along than I was and this day has been non stop cooking, baking and cleaning. Holidays are wonderful and totally exhausting.

Nothing in the local news yet about the First Family's day, but then, it's barely lunch time here :) We know the president worked out at the base, possibly giving the girls a chance to wrap his presents! However we like to imagine them, and wish them the very best holiday, I know their hearts are also beaming Aloha out to the world, always.
