I am on Maui, stay at condo in Kihei Across road from Kamaole Beach II. Have had so d3rful time, love the ocean, birds, MTS., even the gekos! Aloha Susanne, so lucky to live in HI.
Wonderful spot for a vacation! Iāve never been to Chicago, so maybe Iād feel the same there, but here in Hawaii, I often get that chicken-skin feeling, that PBOās calm smile is in the air :)
AWESome Tweetssss……love them….esp the one re: Hillary championing PBOās policies…Iām not mad at her….good thang…separates her from Sanders…OāMalley continues to be an after thought…pity…
One “new” commentator getting a voice on CNN these days (mostly because heās declared for Hillary, I believe) is Bakari Sellers, former congressman from SC House of Reps. Iāve seen him several times over these weeks, and really like him. He has the facts and a great delivery. Also throws in a little endearing humor, every now and then, which Iāve always felt gets one in the conversation better than the slash and burn types realize. Iām going to keep an eye on his future career.
GM arapaho! He also spoke freely about how the Clintons turned off the African-American voters (and many others, take it from me!) in SC, during the ā08 campaign - even quoted what Bill said about Jesse Jacksonās wins. So, heās supporting Hillary with his eyes open, and isnāt afraid to show integrity. My kind of young politician, and I hope youāre right about having PBO campaign for him in future!
I Tivoed both MSNBC and NBC during the debate and am now watching the pre-debate talk with Sanders campaign spokesman. It seems that Bernieās healthcare plan is half-baked as it was redone and presented tonight, only six pages. Seems that it was so comprehensive before and not so much this time around. To me to even think he could get this through without risking losing healthcare altogether is foolhardy. I go with Clinton on healthcare and gun regulation.
Am I wrong or is this the first time of POC moderated one of these debates this season. How did Lester do? I canāt take the debates, they are more like interviews than debates.
“I canāt take the debates, they are more like interviews than debates.”
I am with you, Jacobslily! These are not debates! They are basically group press conferences. I wish we had genuine debates with each debate focused on a specific issue/topic such as: climate change, health care, Immigration reform, gun safety, combating terrorism,-both domestic and foreign, etc., etc.!
I thought Lester Holt was excellent, but was peeved at how questions were directed at one person (which resulted in a two-person “debate,” since one person was allowed rebuttal if their name was mentioned).
Must be corporate MSM policy — swear that in previous years a YouTube question would be offered for each candidate to answer, which didnāt happen last night.
Makes no sense to me when only 3 people are on the stage — let the YouTuber ask the question, allow all 3 to answer. Grrr.
Thanks Nerdy.
Yay COS!
:)
I canāt say it enough. We are sooooooooo lucky to have them!
Aloha, congrats on first COS and thanks to NW for pictures of the best FLOTUS ever. Last day of vacation in POTUS home state.
Aloha Anna! Which island are you visiting? Hope youāve had a glorious time <3

Tonightās debate in tweets.
lol @gifās
:)
Hysterical recap and on point, Nerdy Wonka! Bernie acts like he doesnāt need to get any of his proposals through Congress!
:)
Fabulous tweets NW - Iāve been out - catching up but I would like to know why no-one EVER says this to a GOPer
“ANSWER THE MFKING QUESTION!”
:) True.
Best ever picture on a tweet
Bernieās face when HRC hit him with that truth that he worked to find someone to primary POTUS in 2012.
Bless you X 100 Nerdy Wonda - you are awesome
:)
Nerdy, you have me laugh crying while my husband is trying to watch serious TV. Thank you
:D :D :D

GM JOāB.
Thanks for bringing our attention to Baraki (for those like me who donāt have TV), who is only 31 years old.
Sounds like someone who might see Barack campaigning for him in the future, canāt wait.

Barack for Baraki!
Getting excited already. :)
I think he ran for SC Lt. Governor and didnāt win, so maybe heās out of the game, but maybe not - since heās even more visible nationally, now!

Thanks for letting us know that, JER!
You all have done a great job today.
Once again….
thanks DON for that fabulous comment.
Great tweets, NW! Glad to see Hillary hammer Bernie on his treachery with President Obama.
:)
