Is DWS just a placeholder? What?!?!?!
Here is where that creates problems for Sanders (and many of his supporters): if the sole reason for our political disagreements is that our opponent has been bought out by the corporate establishment, it becomes impossible (and unnecessary) to actually discuss those disagreements. Hence, when organizations like Planned Parenthood and the Human Rights Campaign endorse Clinton, they are simply dismissed as part of the rigged establishment (I know Sanders walked that one back a bit. But it is interesting to note his instinctive initial response).

Such a sweet ceremony at the WH honoring school counselors. First Lady Michelle Obama has started so many initiatives to make life better for students, counselors, veterans…all of us! I’m in awe of her.
I’m gratified to hear she will carry on this work after she leaves the White House. As an academic advisor for a couple of decades, it was one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever done, an honor to walk with my students through thick and thin.
OMG, VP Joe is speaking TRUTH. Telling Dems they haven’t run hard enough on our solid record of great achievements. That we should never apologize about what we stand for. My heart is crushed that he isn’t running. What a strong DEMOCRAT!!!!
But I think we can be confident in knowing that neither he nor PBO will stop working once they leave the WH. Perhaps they will shed some of the restrictions of their current offices and DC politics and be freer to do things the way *they* want to do it.
I hear that the poll to watch is the DesMoines Register poll that will come out this weekend. Ann Sulzer has a terrific track record for accuracy in IA.
