Mesmerized by this incredible photo of our President, Light Worker extraordinaire, in the place he truly belongs, as leader of the free world. God bless and keep him. Thank you, Pete Souza, photographer of the century!
Yes, saw this on the last thread. That whole taxpayers footing the bill for stadiums is outdated and wrong. Advertising makes all the money; teams are not just local anymore (I am a Seahawks fan and live in SoCal). The NFL and the owners need to pay for these.
Just saw your tweet Chips and wanted to bring it over.
This quote right here:
“Funny, though, Sanders pressed pause on his purity when it came to voting against gun reform measures through the years because he wanted to get re-elected in Vermont.”
How supposed liberals (who I know support gun regulation) can just gloss over his gun votes just baffles me.
I just heard from several cousins who are all in for Bernie: stickers on cars, canvasing in SC, etc. I want so much to send them this but, since they all said they would support whomever the eventual Dem nominee is, I think I’m just going to let it go and avoid the subject; don’t want to get in an email war. Plus, I doubt if he’ll still be viable by the time California gets to vote - hope not anyway.

I don’t understand why they are trying to be like Facebook. A lot of people ran away from Facebook because of these nonsense and irrelevant updates. The beauty of Twitter is that it was streamlined and not clunky and not trying to do a thousand useless things at once.
These updates are just bloody dumb. They sure are feeling the heat from every corner. Rightfully so, in my opinion.
Nerdy, I thought the same thing when I read about this “Tweets based on what they think you would want to see” thing. That kind of sh*t is one of (many) reasons I never did Facebook. Gmail tries to do this too but you can choose a different configuration if you want to. The fact that Twitter is (for now) not letting people opt out is a mistake. Many people like to see things in chronological order and don’t want a robot editing their feed for them.
Is this just a way to eventually make people pay for their content to “move up” in importance? I have friends with business pages on Facebook and they have to pay for “Likes” etc. or their content doesn’t get seen in people’s feeds. It’s a total BS racket.
I concur, NW! These ‘updates’ are driving me crazy….I know there has been a mass exodus of Twitter execs lately and seems like Jack is gone on a power trip :(
This is what I can’t get past. Bill. He says Hillary’s the best changemaker, not just a change talker. To whom is he referring? Himself? President Obama? Bernie? I wish he’d stay out of the spotlight.

Most people remember the Clinton years with positivity, so his appearances are a reminder of that. It has a certain effectiveness I believe, at least with those people who like him.
I voted for Bill twice and stood by him for all of those years when he was hounded by the GOP - I was like a Clinton warrior. The ’08 campaign and what he said in SC and how he has been since made me see him real up close, and I’ll never get over it. I hear what you wrote and understand it and would never discount that for others - it just does not work for me. Obviously, I’ll vote for our nominee and - other than an occasional spillover here on TOD - will keep my Bill Clinton thoughts to myself, because that doesn’t help us keep the WH - the ONLY goal. (I’ve been a political junkie since the ’60s - can you tell?)
This guy Anderson .Paak is AMAZING! Saw him on the Late Show from Wednesday night. Meant to share last night but y’all went to bed too early :-) This just blew me away:
FURST.
:star:
wasting precious flowahs, I see.
One (scrooge-y) man’s waste is another gal’s petal-y congratulations.
I don’t know which should I be offended by - the insult or the self-praise?
As an Irish relative - could you give me the heads up before moving on to a new thread - my life is defined by being late on TOD.
Congratulations, AMK on your furst. MP, you’re not far behind. What a wonderful picture of our President at work.

i so agree with you Pamela…i had to pause…what a great picture…getting weepy thinking about his departure…I love my President
No more taxpayer funded stadiums…Amen to that!!
Hey Chips, your tutorial worked, thanks again.

PBO just keeps making me happy!
That is a great idea, these owners are filthy rich and they do not need taxpayers money to build some stadiums for these rich men.
The President just keeps on finding ways to improve things for everybody.

I thought this was just spot on! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Where is this from? I like it.
I’m assuming Ms. Chipsticks herself is the author.
Thanks. I wasn’t sure.
Wow! On the mark.

Shoot, how do they know what tweets are “relevant”?
The word algorithm is become a pejorative to me, Bill!!!!
When I look at that photo, I hear a celestial choir 🎧😇
So funny. We’re all gettin’ a lotta mileage out of that photo.

Not going to happen JoB - she comes with him. I think he probably does exactly as told, but he no doubt has his say behind the scenes.
I’m way past what goes on behind the scenes with those two! Oh, well, moving on!
Did he give any examples of the changes that she’s made??
*hi everybody!*
Not that I picked up on - and hi, theo67! Good to see you here.
Hi Jacq - I realized the other day that I hadn’t checked in for quite a while. Was missing everybody! :)
Missed you, too!

I don’t remember positiveness. I remember scandal and a lot of stupidity.
