The sad part is, when Hillary wins the nomination, she will be smiling and supporting her. , as if it never happens. People need to calm down.
Someone as privileged Sarandon won’t support Hillary if she wins the nom, she won’t vote or will back a third candidate - even if it means a Trump presidency. That won’t hurt her personally, so she won’t care.

Well that was evidence of the bullying that’s going on. Terrible decision if they wanted to persuade anyone to another candidate. I’ve been talked to like that by GOP Tea Party candidates and their staff at candidate nights, cracker barrel sessions, at my door, calling a Tea Party elected official’s office to comment on an issue, and in the community by voters that have decided Barack Obama is evil. Just the same kind of behavior. No different than Sarandon behaved. Yet Sanders supporters are claiming they are the victims. Very Palinesque.
Sarandon is an embarrassing disgrace in this video and Huerta showed amazing restraint in the face of all that rudeness. Dolores Huerta is over eighty, has devoted her life to worker rights and this loud-mouthed movie actress has the nerve to harass her. What a disgusting human being.
Thanks for posting this video. My opinion of Sarandon just went down. My NV daughter-in-law reminds me of her. Righteous, only her way, no compromise or recognizing that opinions evolve and can be influenced by societal norms at that time.
My DIL pulled me into an argument on my last visit by saying that mothers that do not work when their children are preschool age are hurting their children. She said there have been studies showing kids needed a role model of their mother working. I am not sure if she was trying to put me down for staying home with my own kids by not going back to full time teaching until they were in school full days or not. My youngest daughter is home with her one year old too. I said I thought she was a really good mother that found a good daycare system for my two grandkids and my son was great at sharing parenting, but some stay at home Moms also provided opportunities for their children to learn and play with other kids too. That both could work favorably or even negatively. That there was not one right answer. She blew up and accused me of yelling. I had maintained a normal voice. She said she was not going to get in a fight with me so she was not going to talk to me. I said I was sorry that I did not mean to offend her to which she threw down the kitchen towel saying I said not to talk! And she did not talk to me for two days. Talk about awkward moment. She just served as a captain at a NV caucus yesterday. I was trying to show a firsthand example of the personality of a Bernie supporter.
They are now reaping what they have sown. When Trump was spewing dangerous rhetoric about PBO’s birth certificate, the same media thought it was entertaining….but now…it’s not so funny anymore….The chickens are coming home to roost!
I just saw somewhere (where? I have a massive headache and can’t remember) that the RNC will support Trump if he is the nominee. Just blecch.

Good evening Dee and Chipstix! The Sanders campaign seems to be just full of self-righteous people wagging their fingers in other people’s faces. They are the mirror image Tea Party people who want to exclude everyone who isn’t pure enough for them. Sarandon is probably used to treating all the people around her as if they weren’t worth much.

Has Bernie been asked or addressed why he became a Democrat? Hasn’t he been an Independent his entire life until now? That’s actually a question, because I really don’t know the answer.
I think I remember him saying something like running as an Independent was not doable these days. That having a major party behind you was essential. It was said in Bernie speak though.
In other words, he needed the ‘establishment’?
Anyone working in Congress twenty-five plus years is part of the establishment to me. He and Trump are the only two that can brag that they are not taking money from the establishment. That does not mean campaigning as what is currently legal and normal is scandalous. Trump is actually a rich man buying the election which used to be considered unthinkable. He may not succumb to others’ demands of him, but he has his own business ventures he may be promoting and benefitting from. Talk about conflict of interests in holding the presidency to represent the top 1% over the middle class. What would he do to not have a conflict of interest?

Happened in my world as well - probably started with less than a dozen - but I well remember it happening - we then had 4 - and more recently US merchant banks - and now a couple of independents. Our Building Societies did whatever to become banks - and then the big 4 bought them out.

The citizens of Kentucky want to keep the Medicaid expansion they claim is a lifesaving provision for the poor and least advantaged Kentuckians. As an ardent Southern Baptist, Bevin is seeking any possible way to restrict access to Medicaid because he opposes healthcare for the poor even when the federal government picks up the tab. One of his plans is forcing people in poverty to pay for Medicaid services.
Oh LAWD! Isn’t it illegal to charge Medicaid clients for health services?

And when I looked up to see the moonrise outside the window 2 hours ago, I was mesmerized! In a few months, all the trees in an empty lot my window faces will be torn down when construction of a 7-story sister building to this one begins. Future residents here will never see another moon rise. Ever. :( I am so done with this place. Pray for me, I may finally have some news worth sharing before much more time passes. Her actions this past week did it for me, forevah!
