Good speech - good content - and the GOPers - can only talk about themselves and how good they are doing. There is NO comparison between the parties - and the top difference is intelligence.

CNN immediately after speech ended (sets hot take) was focused on ‘subtle digs’ against Donald Trump, followed by a long discussion of Clyburn/Bill Clinton SC fight from eight years ago…..absolutely nothing on the actual substance and compassion of what I believe was here best speech to date.

He really does only talk about himself and “the wall”. And this is the winning candidate? I cannot believe the US has a majority population this stupid ( well I hope this is the case)
I know, right? At first, I thought the appeal was more entertainment, but as time has gone on, it looks like there are some who see him as a serious contender even though there is no substance to his message and his only purpose seems to be to generate fear and hatred. I can’t see the “sane” among the GOP voting for should he become the nominee, but I don’t know how many put party before country.
CM actually had a point that when giving a speech it is better to pause for the applause as an inclusive factor rather than keep talking over the applause. That could make her a better speaker. I felt this was a wonderful speech already though. CM’s point was picky, but it is better to listen and grow from the advice than to ignore it and think good enough!
No way should any dem consider advice from the pundits. CM was using this point to give his % time to Trump as demanded by his employer

When he started the email talk, I turned away. No one cares about the emails except the media. Voters could care less.
Bernie Sanders had a choice to make when he was strategizing with his advisors, their best thinking led them to believe that attacking President Obama is the way to go. Oh well.

In the parlance of planning, it’s basically where you want to end up; your goal if all your tactics work out.
For example, President Obama never goes into a situation without knowing how he wants it to end. And then he works out how to get there.

Three people were stabbed, including one who was critically wounded, and 13 were arrested when a Ku Klux Klan rally in Anaheim erupted in violence Saturday, police said.
A small group of people representing the Klan had announced that it would hold a rally at Pearson Park at 1:30 p.m., police said. By 11 a.m., several dozen protesters showed up at the park to confront the Klan.
About an hour later, several men in black garb with Confederate flag patches arrived and were escorted by police around the edge of the park.
Violence erupted and some of the protesters could be seen kicking a man whose shirt read “Grand Dragon.” At some point, a protester collapsed on the ground bleeding, crying that he had been stabbed. Witnesses said the Klansmen used the point of a flagpole as a weapon while fighting with protesters.
