Firsty!
It’s Daaaaaaaaame Delicious! ❤️
It’s meeeee! 🤓
Chips, do you know what caused this :???:
It was hilarious LP. The referee had just given a free to Arsenal when it was obvious their player had dived. So Louis was arguing with the fourth official about it, and did his impression of the diver. At which point the stadium began singing his name - first time they’ve loved him all season :-)
OMG!!! That makes it even better :D :D ManU probably could have used this ref instead :???:
And all the eejits replying to the tweet are saying ‘he got the ball first!’. He did, but then he tripped the fella when the ball was in reach - definite penalty!
I know you must be especially salty if you are using AMKebonics to describe your disgust!
  But he stole it from the Ireesh!1!1!
Congrats Lady D on #1! :)
Thank you kind m’am! 😄
Ever notice how people who are drawn to the Sanders campaign tend to have an over-inflated view of themselves and their influence?
Good, just waiting for her to switch parties after Sander’s failed presidential bid after super-Tuesday.
Yup - that will likely be her next step…
Exactly
My first reaction on seeing this was anger- and embarrassment. I had high hopes for her, but distancing herself from the president, and now this tom-foolery, it’s demoralizing. Just envisioning the ugly process of getting rid of her. Then, my brain woke up a bit and it occurred to me that she’s just written her own political obituary. Gauvin has it exactly right- she gains nothing from this with the HRC admin-to-come, and by siding with the Socialist, makes it difficult to switch to the Repubs party (which it’s seemed she was positioning to do). Afraid we won’t be rid of her here in Hawaii, but she’s definitely soured her career.
Big fish in tiny pond.
PBO has excelled in this as in everything else; 22 national monuments and set aside more public lands than any other president.
Thanks for the link, Dudette.
Today’s sports programming is not going well  :mrgeen:
Tuesday’s meeting with bipartisan Senate leaders should be ‘interesting.’ Trust President Obama to go right into the lion’s den to sit down with the beasts and I don’t mean Reid and Leahy.
Notice that PBO is not ‘endorsing’ a presidential candidate, but he sure is planting positive seeds as he visits critical states to talk up his signature achievements. You cannot buy this kind of positive local coverage.
I would love to be able to walk into that meeting, introduce myself, and tell ’em I was there to “take notes” for The Obama Diary.
Well, actually, I wouldn’t want to be that close to McConnell or Grassley, but maybe I could sit on the other side of the office, facing the President.
Sounds good to me, JO’B. I’ll sign up as the other Jacqueline twin and we could take turns.
There ya go, jackieG! We could be court stenographers in the Court of Obama in the age of Obama! Yes We Could!
😄😄😄
If anybody is a gifting mood I desperately need one of these  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/961424878/ruggietm-the-worlds-best-alarm-clock
“Are you tired of sleeping through your alarm? A team of entrepreneurs based in Vancouver and Hong Kong have created the Ruggie, a small rug that doubles as an alarm clock that forces you to get out of bed to turn it off. Simply set the alarm at your desired wake up time and when the Ruggie sounds your alarm, you need to stand on it for at least three seconds before it shuts off. Doing so will get you out of bed and on your feet, making it more likely for you to get on with your day than hitting snooze and going back to sleep.”
Hi, LP! Let’s just say when I was in my 20s and had to be at work sitting upright in a chair every weekday at 0745, I had a little trouble hearing the alarm and always was one or two minutes late for work. In an attempt to “be an adult” about it and not be late (Ha!), I had my friend call me on the phone every morning - oh, and, had my Mother do the same thing, five minutes later, like a human snooze button. Also set an alarm and my old-timey clock radio to a musical wake-up, at full volume. (A neighbor in the apartment complex once told me they could hear my loud musical alarm every morning and would say to each other, “Wake up, Jackie.” But I digress.) One morning, after I forgot to set my alarm(s) because I accidentally fell asleep on the sofa, and (can’t remember why) but didn’t hear the two wake-up phone callers … all of a sudden, another friend was banging on my front door like firemen would. Scared the heck outta me. She yelled through the door that my Mother was thinking I was dead; she’d tried to call but got no answer. Now, my other friend who called me every work day did not know my Mother was also calling me (oops, that’s what we used to call “taking full advantage”), and while she just thought my son and I had stayed overnight at my Mother’s house, my Mother obviously knew better and called her to see if I’d answered her phone call. Thus, the first friend’s sending the second friend over to check on me, and yada yada yada. By the time I got to work, neither friend wanted to speak to me ever again, so I took them out for lunch the next day, and gave them each a small gift, while begging forgiveness.
The end.
The moral of this story? Well, none, but I coulda used that Ruggie back in the day.
OMG that was an epic tale, JB! Maybe one of these would have come in handy too?
Epic! OMG they look too painful! And, luckily, I don’t even have a clock in my bedroom at present. Yeehaw!
*chuckle-chuckle* Honestly JO’B, are you writing your ‘Memoirs’?
Ha. No, my family won’t let me!
:D :D
My mother used to have to call my sister every morning for years in the mornings to make sure she got up.
Ha. Your sister and I would get along! When I was a teenager and it was late on a Saturday morning, all my mother ever said to me was “Jackie, you’re sleeping your life away!”
Clearly your bed is not as enchanting as mine. 3 seconds to turn off the alarm, then hop back between the warm, cushy covers would be no prob whatsoever. 😆
:-D
I like this one much better, than the one that hit’s you in the face.
Oh, I should have read further down, and I see you already posted it! Ha!
That girl is a hoot. She lives on a boat….you should click on her youtube channel and see some of the other *inventions she has come up with
Thanks Chips, and thanks Don. Appreciating your posts as I’ve been sliding in and out of the village.

Wonderful!
GA/GE TODville.
Since it’s the lull before #OscarsSoWhite frenzy, thought I’d take this opportunity while it’s still #BHM to post this ICYMI last month.
Wish MSM would acknowledge *why* some in their audience might not have their same POV.
Octavia Butler — my all-time favorite Sci-Fi Writing GODDESS! I LURRRVE HER! :-D
“So be it. See to it.” !!!!!
The transmitter signal during Trump’s hate-a-thon in AL keeps fading in and out. The telecommunications gods are on our side. He claims to have 30K+ in attendance. The cream of the crop of the children of the corn, I guess. Soon, they’ll be giving him the old Nazi salute. There are a few protesters who’ve arisen during his “hate speech” (about three times now) and the followers aren’t happy. Plus, Trump just said in response to the protesters, “All Lives Matter, remember that.” Hate all the way.
Also loved how one of his older sons had to call in to MSNBC earlier to disavow David Duke’s KKK endorsement for dear old dad, who froze up when asked by Jake Tapper if he disavowed it. This is how the presidency would be, were this crime family leader to ever set foot in the White House … one of his older sons would go around and tell everyone “Daddy was just kidding” and the other older son would go out and break some kneecaps. To make America great again.
Can’t deal with much more of this!
I just saw on Facebok that Jeff Sessions endorsed Trump, I guess at that rally. Sick! These people are sick and evil.
Sick and evil, all of them. It’s getting scarier than usual out there.
Here we go again!
Interesting take
Hey all you SoCal TOD peeps. And all other TOD peeps, too.
I love Sec of Interior Sally Jewell and our dear PBO, but it doesn’t seem fair to me that 3 weeks after settling a lawsuit filed against the Dept. of the Interior, a settlement that resulted in an agreement by the Dept. to take a hard look at the effects of offshore fracking along Calif’s coast, that the Dept. of Interior has filed a draft environmental assessment that will allow oil companies to resume fracking in the Pacific Ocean from Long Beach to the Santa Barbara channel, thus continuing to dump huge amounts of toxic chemicals into the Pacific Ocean, and more. Read more at http://www.biologicaldiversity.org/news/press_releases/2016/fracking-02-22-2016.html

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

ALL.OF.THIS!
That was my favorite video of this election season!
Great commentary about the disease spreading all over the Grand Old Party.
Ha. Wow. Yep. Good find DF
Happy Sunday TODers.
Heeeeeya Chips!
My president is such a hard worker.
Horrible! That governor should be in jail!
And there is always the comment blaming POTUS. Didn’t congress refuse to authorise money for Flint - or am I mistaken?
I believe Ted Cruz was holding up the bill in the Senate.
Thanks sjterrid - I thought I had read it hadn’t got through congress
I think the house and senate reached an agreement, but Cruz is holding it up. Unfortunately, there’s some kind of Senate rule where one member could just hold up the process.
Even the republicans will be pleased when Cruz is no longer in the senate. An obnoxious liar who has no moral compass at all.
I know. Did you hear that Sen Graham said at some event joked about the other Presidential candidates and joked that if Ted Cruz was murdered in the senate, the Killer would be acquitted.
I did - not quite the favored son :)

Dumb & Dumber cast members Josh Rogin & Eli Lake before the people even voted posted this column:
Mr. Purist has just surfaced!!!
Give it a break, Loudmouth!
Saw him interviewed on CNN earlier in the day, yelling and interrupting people.
He takes a job on Russian tv doesn’t he??
Wonder what’s in his portfolio. Maybe he should look.
Evening all. TOD is always the most wonderful oasis in the middle of #2016. Love those PDA pics
I loved Danish Girl. Beautifully shot, complex relationships, incredible acting. It worked for me as a love story.
Make it so, make it so, make it so.
If the report is good it will probably be reported negatively anyhow cuz the so called experts would have over estimated what the numbers should be. Then the media will say what a disappointment it is that the economy did not grow enough.
Memo to GOP: You reap what you sow
Dear Tim Clarence Thomas Scott, America is already on the right track thanks to President Obama.
Oy Vey
GTFOH…..reminds me of the golden globe nomination announcements when they confused Gina Rodriguez with America Ferrera!
I’m not interest in the Oscars.
Oh my gawd! Could these folks be more ridiculous that they don’t Oprah from Whoopi! LOL!
They know the difference. Someone trying to be funny or maybe not.
Sessions is another redneck racists. The only thing that matter to people like Sessions is Donald J. Trump is white. He can be a digusting racists sexists lying foul mouth bully just as long as he is white. That is all those racists care about.
I find this really scarrey - Senators being so openly racist.
Dr. Biden looks stunning as does VP’s daughter Ashley :)
It’s a family affair!!
Awww so beautiful!
Gorgeous
OUR gorgeous SLOTUS
Luv me some Bette!
So TRUE!
LOL!
That piece by Josh Marshall-“Inside the Implosion of the Republican Party and the War to Stop Trump”-is totally on target. Every analogy, every fact of history, every single word is ‘spot on.’
