She wrote such a heart wrenching letter to the President, I’m so glad that he answered her. Yes, we are all so lucky that we have him as our President. Yes, best President ever!

I don’t know if it’s a local or national buy, but over the course of the evening I’ve seen Bernie Sanders’ latest ad at least four times on the teevee. Nothing from Hillary that I’ve spotted.

      Depends on where you are.
Here in Georgia, I’ve seen ads from Dem candidates. I know I’m really sick of seeing Rubio and Cruz ads, that’s for sure. Of course, the GOP ads are all about how the country is in terrible shape and the world is a scary place… blah, blah, blah. Ugh!

Central Illinois. I have yet to consciously see any RWNJ presidential ads, unless somebody on MSNBC or CNN was playing them on their shows to “discuss.” I’ll consider myself lucky!

Each break had Bernie ads between both Rachel and Lawrence’s shows. Actually, playing the same ad again and again did not make an impact it just annoyed me. If I had not already decided against Bernie the marathon ad runs may have done it for me!

Arizona politician on Don Lemon’s show was almost popping a vein in his neck stating that Trump is not a racist - says he knows him and supports him and would never do that, if he were a racist.

No kidding … he may think that but has he actually been inside Trump’s actual brain? Nobody can swear anybody’s not a racist, when they just have a casual political relationship with them. It’s so surreal what people will fall for, to be close to “celebrity” or money or fame or whatever.

The Lafayette statue story is fascinating. And the “it just takes one person to speak up” lesson in it was telling.

I just watched the broadcast on Ore Public Broadcasting of the Tribute to Ray Charles at the White House. Ray Charles was very connected to my youth. He had so many hit songs that were a part of my earlier life. It was a joy to hear them again. I had the pleasure of seeing Ray Charles perform live at a jazz concert live in Bologna, Italy, where I was a student for a time. He was electric and so alive, so at one with his music. The Italians absolutely loved him.

I grew very wistful knowing this was the last musical broadcast from the White House during the Obama presidency. Watching him I was aware of how much personal magnetism he has, how so many people are lifted up in his presence. This feeling I have had the past 7+years of a deep trust and security in this leader, this person of such integrity and deep spirit. what a rare thing it is. I doubt I shall ever have it again with any other earthly leader in our world. I am so glad and grateful to have this feeling now and will cherish it in the remaining days of his presidency

      Good morning Bill!
      Good morning TOD!
Thank you for sharing your experience.
What a joy it is to wake up to read positive post concerning gratefulness.
I woke up this morning feeling the exact same way.
It’s a beautiful sunny day here in New York City.
I refuse to allow the negative things that are happening diminish these past seven years of PBO’s presidency.
These remaining days are to be cherished and honored while the fools around us fall to the way side.
They had an opportunity to be a part of this………they chose their own fate.

I shared the information on this post about Mr. Lafayette.
      Thank you!
