There is plenty of talk in intertubes how the trumpistan racists will raise hell if there was a brokered convention to deny the racist punk the nomination.
IIRR, in all the primaries and caucuses so far donald dreck has not won the plurality in any of them. That means more than half the rethugs don’t want him. So, how will this ‘silent majority’ react if dreck does get the nom?
Yes, I know what you mean. How can people live with themselves, being responsible for that kind of neglect and abuse? Those are the kinds of conditions that need to be fixed TODAY - not tomorrow or next month.
I hope someone on PBO’s staff was watching, although the governor is responsible. This is what happens when Democrats stay at home and do not vote in local and state elections. Snyder was allowed a 2nd term just like Scott Walker. Elections have consequences. I can’t imagine a school n that condition. Dead rats, mold and mushrooms growing on the wall. That is worse than third world countries.
I can’t get it out of my head, either. And we’ve been reminded this is NOT THE ONLY CITY LIKE THAT. And it’s been that way, forever, in many places. God help us all. And God help us to get off our butts as a country, and finally do something about it.
Just saw some of the video from today. He is carelessly fomenting rage every day.
Someone is going to suffer serious injury at one of his rallies some day. No doubt.
Anybody else think Trump needs a psychiatric exam? Keep calling to mind his actions today (and other days, of course) at the rally where he lost it with the protesters. Trouble is there doesn’t appear to be one person in his life who could have a talk with him … he’s got the family all looking like robots, backing up his every wrong move.
He is a very sick megalomaniac. He’s incapable of honest reflection and doesn’t care who suffers from his actions. He’s the walking definition of a sociopath. And that is why his base loves him. It’s impossible to fathom the sickness in their hearts.
@Kennymack1971 @bbkenn92 I believe that's exactly what's happening. And each of PBO's successes only fuels their rage.
As a retired mental health clinician, I don’t think that Trump technically suffers from a mental disorder. He has a personality disorder, narcissistic and authoritarian personality disorder. If you look those categories up in the DSM-V diagnostic manual ( you can find it online) you can see the diagnostic criteria. Generally what defines a personality disorder is that they believe their many conflicts with those around them are not of their own doing, but are the fault of others (ego-syntonic defenses). Hence they go around making trouble because of the structure of their ego and personality, and are always attempting to make the world conform to their own obsessions, rather than making any attempt to adapt to others or the world around them, never accepting any responsibility themselves. So they never change and are generally incapable of any insight.
Wow. Thanks for the insight, Bill. I’m guessing many may not be “successful” in, for instance, their careers. But when you have all the money in the world to do whatever you want, success is whatever you name it to be.
AGREED. He also appears to have very deep insecurities for which he compensates by demeaning others, without conscience, and seeking power without limits. His constant need to assert superiority displays a ruthless neediness. And his constant focus on his physicality is really disturbing. He’s a horrifically unattractive man in every way imaginable.
I hope he LOSES the primary in a landslide, when it’s done. Only way he’ll get the slap in the face he has surely earned. Won’t change him, but he needs to be rebuffed so maybe it’ll change some VOTERS into asking themselves, “What was I thinking????”.
What an amazing young man. President Obama has such a keen eye on picking the best people to assist him. I hope Jon Favreau plans on running for public office in the future. His speech, as well as the Q&A, demonstrated his keen insights about the way our political system operates.
Hi Meta, Imeant to thank you for sharing Jon Favreau speech at Oxford University. He is an impressive young man. President Obama surrounded himself with some brilliant people, both young and old.
To run for President, you must have to file something that says you’ll run a campaign that follows the laws of the country and all 50 states. Incitement to riot and such isn’t legal.
He’s used to sitting in Trump Tower, ordering people around and ordering in. Now, he’s standing at podiums with Secret Service, local police, and fake security surrounding him, so he thinks he can order some of them to remove protesters or arrest them or rough them up a little bit, etc. And some of them are glad to do it. His campaign people are doing the same, then denying it to the media.
He used to be gleeful too when he demeaned contestants on The Celebrity Apprentice. He is a Narcissistic Authoritarian like Bill has said. Yup! I admit to watching Trump’s show prior to his tussles with PBO. Then I quit giving him help with his ratings.
Only watched maybe one or two seasons of his shows, but as I recall they were much more scripted - and others were involved. He was off conning other people around the globe most of the time, no doubt.
But there was always The Board Room where the Donald could query the contestants and make snide demeaning comments before shouting out his irreverent word “You’re fired!”.
An error has occurred; the feed is probably down. Try again later.

It’s been great to answer your questions. We are learning more every day about Zika, so stay up to...
Thanks for all the questions!
I'm traveling to Belize and according to the CDC it is a zika free zone, however, all the surrounding countries are effected. Is this because of poor reporting? Should I be concerned?
If we are trying to have a baby now should we be tested first .. This scares me !

I should warn you TODs: flagrant mis-use of Cheetos!
Hysterical….love it
I hope Rachel continue reporting on the disasters cause by these republican governors. She reported on Michigan today.
I do, too. She’s really found her story. Unfortunately, it’s way too many stories like that!
I was very heartbroken over that veteran’s home Jacqueline.

Back at you!!!
There are no words.
I see a bunch of us can’t get it out of our heads! Each day he gets a little worse.

Just posted a link to a “Trump Hate Map,” where episodes have occurred.

At least Trump knows they exist, I see:
He is a very sick megalomaniac. He’s incapable of honest reflection and doesn’t care who suffers from his actions. He’s the walking definition of a sociopath. And that is why his base loves him. It’s impossible to fathom the sickness in their hearts.

it is called being drunk w/power…he believes that he can say and do almost anything…and he will not lose support…and no one will call him out!!…

i do not believe that Trump losing the nomination will change anything…he will run as an independent
A breath of fresh air:
Thank you! Exactly what’s needed. Love Jon Favreau.
My gawd, he’s handsome. Wow!
:) Also check out the pic I just posted of our President!
Nice. VERY VERY NICE.

Yes - and luckily nobody has to see that again on the teevee!

So very important.
Good morning, TOD. Waiting for EBC………:)
