I love my president. That’s all.
I’m standing beside you in that line!
Make room for me!!!
Glancing back while waiting to move forward [from end of previous post, here’s @Interior’s recap].
Thanks, Chips! I was looking for these times today so that I could plan my afternoon (have to take a young guest back home sometime today) and couldn’t remember the post in which they’d already been shared. I did check the WH post but no luck.
You are highly welcome, young lady :-)
Oooooo, suh-weeet, today I’m a young lady! Life’s good! Give your resident young man a huge hug for me, please. :) :)
I will - if I can catch him :-)
*tee-hee-hee* Think of all that *natural* exercise you’re getting. DannyO sounds like a terrific personal trainer who models the activity for you and with whom you don’t need to purchase any additional equipment. :D :D :D I *almost* envy you …….do not.
A Great Hello from the people of the United States
Un gran saludo de la gente de los Estados Unidos
A Great Hello to the Cuban people from TheObamaDiary
Un gran Hola a los cubanos de TheObamaDiary

More on The International Day of Happiness … my favorite old-timey gospel song and version:
J’OB 💕
Mornin’, dahling! <3
Morning 💋
Since this is gospel I will say that every day like today where we see President Obama bring forward are hopes I say thank you, God and more please!
With you on that!
Obama’s March 20-22 visit has raised Cubans’ hopes that a new era in relations with the United States will bring an end to the U.S. trade embargo and improve life for everyone on the island. For Afro-Cubans in particular, the presidential trip carries a special charge, a hope that an African-American leader’s near-universal popularity among Cubans of all races will help end lingering prejudice and inequality.
***********************
Our President is a source of hope for many…
Yes We Can!
Sí, podemos
I hope LL is here…i would love to hear what the President’s trip means to his family
Perhaps he’ll share one of his poems on the occasion.
yesssss
bt, the team you love to hate is about to lose.
And they were 2-0 up!!! Maybe it’s just the start of a perfect day. Gulp.
dream on. what’s with your team putting out ads for today’s derby? that desperate?
yup. lp lost. no, the other one.
🎈💥👍🏼🤓
Chips, Rooney has arrived with the Team!
Think he’s still injured, though??
Don’t know, we’ll see soon
Just checked GGail, he’s not in the squad, just there as a fan :-)
Bummer! Then hand him a pair of PomPoms and tell him to cheer them on!!!
 Rooney and PomPoms, the mind boggles!
LOL!!!!
Another spirit-lifting, hope-giving post from you, Chips!!!! What’s this, about a gazillion you’ve given us now? Thank you a gazillion times and counting. <3
IMAGINE!!!
But i would rather have the President organizing in the Streets of the World
Ummm…here is the tweet…hahah
Although he’d be awesome, I just don’t see him wanting to be an Associate Justice on Supreme Court.
me neither…he wants to be out and about…doing great things in the world
It’s only from October to June right? He could be an Associate Justice on SC until Sasha graduates then Hillary and appoint someone else.
Awesome Sauce!!!
Good Morning, Everyone :)
I can’t wait to follow the First Family’s historic trip via TOD. I know you all are going to bring it!
Sweet! I’m going to miss today and I’m really upset. Waaaaaah. But I look forward to PLENTY of video and commentary here.
I don’t know how reliable this feller is, but there it is.
Cook is a long time elections analyst. His predictions are fairly cautious as a rule. So this is probably fairly accurate.
Good. Hope this turns our true.
Woot! How many more do we need to take The House?
Editorial: Majority’s voice ignored in SCOTUS stall
http://qctimes.com/news/opinion/editorial/editorial-majority-s-voice-ignored-in-scotus-stall/article_90b6da66-1f34-57d3-93b4-ea4b12c2fe56.html
Here’s a number for you, Sen. Grassley: 816,429.
That’s how many Iowans preferred President Barack Obama over Mitt Romney in 2012. That’s how many “voices” your utter obstructionism is silencing from your home state in the name of false principle and partisanship.
.
.
But this isn’t just any year. It’s a year of Republican rage. It’s a year of right-wing disdain for constitutional principles counter to its reactionary doctrine. It’s a year of demonizing the 63 million Americans who voted for Barack Obama in 2012.
It’s the year of acting as if the majority’s voice doesn’t count.
These analyses are remarkable…because what is happening in the Senate is not new it has been taking place since that fateful Inaugural day in 2009 when the GOP decided to OBSTRUCT everything the President did…even in the midst of a economic crisis that threatened not only to take down America but the world….
where were these media voices then…
yet another washed up actor.
I go silent from here on.
Don’t want to jinx my team.
Also, will be meeting Tally & PurpleshoesLA today at 11:30am for Brunch.
See y’all later
Ah, I didn’t know you were meeting up, have a FAB day, GGail!!
Thanks Chips! I’m going to email you a picture of the Brunch that I will need you to post. I’ll explain in the email. Look out for it please. It will be special. <3

Why don’t that piece of crap Trump tell his supporters not to attack anyone.
I hope so to….smilin
Translation:…..having so much fun with this
Who will accompany President Obama to Cuba? We say in tweets
The first lady, Michelle Obama
our own Judith’s letter to the editor re: #SCOTUS obstruction by the GOP
Merrick Garland nomination: Last week, after a meticulous vetting process and consultation with members of Congress and the judiciary, President Obama fulfilled his constitutional mandate by announcing the selection of Judge Merrick Garland as his nominee for the Supreme Court.
It is the duty of the Senate to advise and consent now, not after the next election.
Senators took an oath of office to uphold the Constitution, and this is their job.
No one is saying Judge Garland isn’t highly qualified or too partisan. He was confirmed for his current position on the D.C. circuit court by a bipartisan majority.
Some of the Republicans are pretending that it would be okay to not even give him a hearing or a vote, using the lame excuse that the voters should choose a new president first. We the people already used our voice to re-elect President Obama, whose term doesn’t end for nearly 300 days.
There is plenty of time.
Do your job, senators!
Judith Fardig
<3 <3 it! Concise and very apropos.
^5 Judith!
:)
Awesome Judith. That is a wonderful letter to the editor. Thank you for all your work with OFA-OR and this President. ((((hugs)))
:)
Wow - thanks, Prettyfoot! Hope a bunch more TOD folks write to their own newspapers or show up for OFA events during the Congressional recess in obstructionists’ districts.
thumbs up..
Great letter, Judith! Thanks for all you do.
Wow,
It’s the First Day of Spring!
It’s International Day of Happiness!
It’s Palm Sunday!
What an auspicious day for new beginnings! Godspeed to our First Family!
;) D-ette, you prolly should come by here and remind the temperature that it’s the 1st day of Spring. I feel a nip in the air and I’m inside AND the heater is on! OTH the sun has been shining all morning so it looks beautiful through the window. :)
Yeh, it was kinda nippy here in ATL this morning too. Brisk, as they say. :-)
Sun shining here in K’town, but brisk as Dudette described ATL. :) Freeze warnings for tonight and snow in the higher elevations of the Smokies. Husband has two-day hiking trip planned in the Smokies. Wonder if he’ll be able to go??
Yikes! Tell him to stay indoors and enjoy the snow. But if he does go, he’d better bundle up good!
Beautiful here in Michigan with 45 degrees :) Spring!
SOON: First Family departs for Cuba. Click here ► ► http://www.cbsnews.com/liveFeed/widget.shtml

Hey soccer fans, did you hear Tim Howard is leaving England to come back and play in Colorado?
Guess who welcomed him back? Okay, not really, but a very cute mashup! :-D
Have been visiting Antigua in the Caribbean. The highest point of the island has been renamed in honor of PBO, Obama Peak. Parents, teachers, and other elders are using PBO as an example to keep boys in school and to further their education. They say, “Look what an educated man has accomplished for his people and his country! Any one of you can make a difference.” People are closely following the Cuba visit. I could not be more proud at the moment!
Wow, that’s quite an honor they’ve bestowed on our PBO! It’s wonderful to see so many lift us our President as an example to their young ones. He is the pride of the world!
Enjoy your visit to Antigua. I hope I’m lucky enough to go there someday.
