Oh LP, Charles is one of a kind. I am so thrilled with Kansas. That is my home state and my father graduated from KU. We also went to Wilt Chamberlain play many years ago.

I can’t wait to hear what 99st has to say about the spider.

They played well last night & I expect them to beat Villanova tomorrow…. My Auburn Tigers are unfortunately in rebuilding mode (we were never a b-ball school….Charles Barkley & Chuck Person are only accomplished NBA players) but have gotten the recruits over the last two years to make a run in the tournament next year.

I sure hope they win. I love watching college basketball but I don’t get real involved until March. Sorry about you Tigers. They do so well in football you need to spread the wealth.

I take Charles Barkley with a grain of salt. They all have big egos and big mouths. That’s why they are on TV.

Again thanks LP for always bringing such great information to us. You are such a treasure!!!

I am so enjoying watching Mama Eagle(?) feeding the eaglets and taking care of the nest. I am so in awe of mother nature. We are watching this happen live, it’s not a tv show or a video, this is live. She has fed the babies, fluffed up the nest and now is back covering them. I wonder how long the fish will last for them. It is a huge fish. Would have love to have seen Papa Eagle catch it.

Granted, trade deals are complex precisely because they have to deal with so many competing interests. But given a globalized economy, this is not an arena that Democrats can afford to walk away from. Like any other democratic process, it means that we need to inform ourselves, offer solutions and be prepared for the fact that compromise is inevitable. If our elected officials are not embracing that approach, they should be held accountable.

There are some who are adamant that BS needs to drop out of the race and support HRC now. I say, his staying in the race at this time helps.

Specifically for me to see HRC take her licks and through a few punches of her own is important especially when I know the race was initially rigged for a coronation. Given our choices now, and seeing her scrap for votes and put in the miles and the effort makes a difference. Now I don’t have an issue voting for HRC unless she does something ridiculous like…spouting bullshit about POTUS or attempts to take credit for his work or undermine his accomplishments.

Will I be a full throated supporter? no but I don’t feel like I have to swallow a whole bottle of nausea medicine before pulling a lever for her.

I still don’t trust her and her views on TPP is backwards but what the hell. She’ll figure it out when she has to deal with it and then she will learn that she is wrong on the issue and it should resolve itself over time. But I if the election was held today, I would go ahead and vote for her.

My recommendation for those calling BS to back out now…stop it. Because it isn’t helpful. If you believe HRC is up for the task of being the next POTUS, trust her enough to allow her to prove it…to herself and to those who are giving her, DWS and the DNC the side eye.

    Just my 2 cents.

If Bernie can excite voters to come out and actively convinces them to vote for Hillary if she wins that would be a win/win. On the other hand if he alienates his supporters against Hillary or runs as an independent and takes votes away allowing the GOP to win it will not be good. I hope if he wins he can be President without ruining the accomplishments of PBO, especially healthcare.

Obama Grandmama, that was the same thing folks said about HRC in 2008 so let the process play itself out. Forcing one to concede does not speak well of your preferred candidate. Just saying.

And to be frank, I am not at all confident HRC will add much to POTUS accomplishments. I am expecting nothing from a HRC presidency. Anyway, there is nothing wrong with BS pushing for a win and HRC has the same right. This is a good thing for folks like me who aren’t sold on either candidate and was resistant to the process this go round. It only helps her to get roughed up a bit and put in the work to earn the nomination so let them do what they have to do and it will all come out in the wash. Given our lack of choices, either candidate will be a better option than the GOP.
