First Family back at the WH after Easter Service at church
My goodness but I’m going to get whiplash here. First MPs lovely wishes for a happy Easter, followed immediately by df’s link on the latest gawd awful comments from ol’ Trumpy, and then the image from Bella’s email of our beloved first family returning from Easter Service. All within less than 10 minutes. Whew!
All I can say is thank goodness they came in that order so I can just remain with that last image as a brain cleanser and as a way to enjoy this lovely day. And best wishes for a Happy Easter to everyone here.

I love this picture of the first family. And I love the fact that everyone is focused on their hymn singing in a reverent way.
Bill R. one comment I read was about the expression on the Obamas face, I said look at the picture you will see that the expression on their face is no different then the other people in the picture. You know it all depends on the song you are singing. If you are singing that shouting, clapping praising song, they wouldn’t have been holding the book.
I saw Michelle’s niece, her brother’s daughter with them when they were heading to church.

I despise the ‘caucus’ system and always have because it inherently disenfranchises people with jobs, with young children, with disabilities, with limited transportation access, who are economically disadvantaged, who are sick, who care for the sick, who are in the military, who are spouses/partners of people in the military …….. CAUCUSES SUCK!

Good afternoon everyone. Donna and sheri you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hoping for a real recovery Donna, and strength for you and your family Sheri.
I have to say that today has been the best day in my life for over a year. A year ago my life was all dread and fear for what was going to happen. The worst happened in July, but amazingly, now eight months later, I feel as if I am a little resurrected myself. Church service was wonderful and then dinner with friends was very enjoyable. I could actually enjoy and know what was going on. For the first six or seven months, I hardly knew what was happening. This is a long process, as those of you who have been through it know. I am thankful for faithful, caring friends and family.
