7:30: The President delivers the keynote address at the awards dinner for Syracuse University’s Toner Prize for Excellence in Political Reporting, Washington
I don’t know if what I do can be put in a book, like the great painters Van Gogh, Monet, and Picasso, I stand before an empty canvas and create without a conscious thought.
Hope there is good weather in DC. From my window, I see a gray Monday laying out, and I hear tick-tack, the noise of rain knocking to enter the living room.
Good morning LDS. You just reminded me to check the weather forecast for DC in June. I am so use to being in Cali where we don’t get rain after April. 😊
Unless I am mistaken, President Obama were trying to reach the Cuban people, specially the young people. Beside do anyone think Fidel Castro was going to come out and say nice things about a American President, even though he might have said it behind close doors.
If you were edging near your 90th birthday, and the one world leader who can undermine and destroy what you fought for in your Twenties came to your country, you probably wouldn’t be very pleased either.
From the article (i.e., copying and pasting what the Cuban State-run newspaper said), it’s clear it’s still 1961 to Fidel — he even #BlamesObama for events that happened before his birth, LOL — no different than US media and RWNJs.😉
This doddering old fool needs to go sit down; in the minds of the young people of his country, Cuba has moved on and they are more than ready to join the rest of the world. He can yell and spit all that he wants but progress, freedom, and a new tomorrow that the young people aspire to and that PBO helped to ignite is inevitable.
1st!
Congrats Don!
Is that your permanent place now?
I did not seek out this station, I can humbly state that my greatness is both a blessing and a curse.
I think it’s time you wrote the book. Not so much a how-to but rather a what-is.
I don’t know if what I do can be put in a book, like the great painters Van Gogh, Monet, and Picasso, I stand before an empty canvas and create without a conscious thought.
VALID
Make Don first always!
hhahahahaha smh
Don, the ladies are gently telling you to stop being a hog 😊
Well Good Morning to you to GGail.

Good morning Ms. Chips, Danny and TOD family, I hope all is well with everyone this lovely Monday morning. Congrats Don, on being first this morning.
To all, I hope that you are regenerated, reinvigorated, and rejuvenated today. ❤ ❤❤
Thank God that President Obama is still the President of The United States of America. ⭐🏆 ⭐🏆 ⭐🏆
Good Morning Chips.
Good Morning TODVille!
Hope there is good weather in DC. From my window, I see a gray Monday laying out, and I hear tick-tack, the noise of rain knocking to enter the living room.
GRAY HERE TOO….GOTTA GO..BENGAY IS CALLING…TIME TO OIL UP AND MOVE ON!
Good morning LDS. You just reminded me to check the weather forecast for DC in June. I am so use to being in Cali where we don’t get rain after April. 😊
Oops NCLB, I wrote LDS instead of your initials. Too early for my brain 😊
Good Morning GG!
Morning NCLB 😊
Good West Coast morning Chipsticks & TOD family.
Morning. Seems to be raining in DC today. Hope the little ones don’t get sick.
G’morning Chips & TOD!! Congrats Sir Don on #1, and Happy Easter Monday to everyone!
Much ado about nothing…
I didn’t see Young Castro cringe next to POTUS in the ball game. In fact, I remember him personally escorting OBAMA to the airport.
Oh my…I’m sure President Obama is losing sleep over this! (MAJOR EYE ROLL HERE) ROTFLMAO!!
Morning TOD. Media LOVES to keep shit happening. I haven’t bought a Time issue in years.
Reaching really low to create this. /smh
Not worth a click from me.
President Obama should ware Fidel Castro’s comments as a badge-of-honor. Mission Accomplish! 👍👌👊👏✊🎊🎉🏆
Unless I am mistaken, President Obama were trying to reach the Cuban people, specially the young people. Beside do anyone think Fidel Castro was going to come out and say nice things about a American President, even though he might have said it behind close doors.
GM NCLB. Hope you had a splendid Easter Sunday.

I read and reread what Castro said and I still have no idea what he’s talking about.
To all of you who commented, this sum up what we all see:
The same time rag that ‘honored’ pasty patsy walker/krispe kreme/water boy as the next savior of murka?
rriight.
What a pleasure to have such a literature POTUS.
A lot of us can relate to what PBO said and feels about Aretha and Ray Charles.
I really encourage everyone to read the article. It’s by David Remnick and it’s really beautiful.
WOW! What a great article, how did I ever miss it. If I’m not mistaken David Remnick might be one of President Obama’s favorite columnist.
It just came out! Isn’t it fabulous? And, yes, Remnick is an Obot, a member of our Tribe.
Loved this quote from Carol King:
She soon spots Obama wiping a tear from his cheek. “The cool cat wept!” King told me later. “I loved that.”

Good day e’erone. I see you’re all off to a good start.😉
