I have cats too and sometimes their meows sound like they are saying mom especially when they want something…..just like kids.
My cats talk in sentences.
Guess my post office story is at the end of the last post. Too bad as I do not know how to bring it over.

Me too! I even took a deep breath and watched CM with DT. Yuck! That one was hard to watch. Winging everything may appeal to many, but Hillary comes off knowing what she speaks about.
Better story. I had to go to the post office today to ask a question. When no one else was inside the post master asked me what I thought of the election so far? The employees cannot talk politics, but when Obama ran in 2008 it was very evident to those working at my rural post office whom I supported from my mail. I was involved with OFA. The two working there were also Obama supporters, only secret supporters due to their job and living in a Conservative rural area. When I got a bunch of Obama campaign buttons I let them both choose one from all the different ones I had, again when no one else was inside. Back to today. He is supporting Hillary too as he does not think a revolution can be pulled off. He said if Obama could not do it why would Bernie be able to do it? It was good to know I am on the same wavelength with at least one other person in my neighborhood.

I remember when I used to listen to Thom Hartmann he would complain that PBO has commuted the sentences of the fewest of ANY president while PBO had only been in office two years…..TWO YEARS! It was then I knew that TH had it in for PBO especially having BS on his show every Thursday.

Michelle wouldn’t want something as confining and as *political* as DNC chair. Don’t think she’d be happy fundraising, having to devote her energy toward those who have more wealth than they know what to do with.
I think she’s really committed to #LetGirlsLearn around the globe, just as PBO will continue his mentorship and involvement with #MyBrothersKeeper after Jan 20, 2025 <==😦 .
i think you are right…there is a lot of wishful thinking that is going on around the President and FLOTUS….smilin…and who can blame them….as much as i try not to…i feel that the light will go out when they leave the White House….

I’ve posted a tweet similar to this one a couple of times here before, but I’m for Josh Earnest like I was for Joe Biden for President (all in).
Josh mentioned today that he has experience working as a legislative aide in the House, and during a previous daily WHPB said he worked at the DNC for a short time.
I think Josh would be just what the Dems need:
1) He’s young (no Clintonista ties).
2) He’s so nice (gracious, mid-West nice) — press corps obviously like him personally.
3) He pretty much defines articulate, and has one of the best voices around.
3) He’s as quick on his feet as PBO, comes up with some great ad libs, jokes and puns. For example:

The Pentagon plans to move roughly a dozen inmates from the US military prison at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba to at least two countries.
The transfers come as the Obama administration takes steps to close the controversial facility, which has been called a recruiting tool for jihadists.
The prisoners are expected to leave Guantanamo in the coming weeks.
However, the military did not disclose the prisoners’ destinations.
Tariq Ba Odah, a Yemeni man who has been on a long-term hunger strike, is among the prisoners being transferred, an official told Reuters.
About 91 detainees currently remain at Guantanamo, down from about 800 in 2002.

Awww, VC, my dear, I have read all the back & forth about what I think might be considered food in some parts of TOD ({doing the whisper voice} cheese puffs?) Joking aside, it’s never too late to do the cooking part — learning together, & laughing at the mess-ups together. We’ve had more fun trying out stuff, chit-chatting about everything as we did, and then cracking up if something didn’t quite come out as we expected, but we were going to eat it anyway. And create a “sauce” or topping by blending all the fruit in the house that could work in that experiment & make that that dish a pièce de résistance. Some of those “blends” we should have written down, including the conversations that created them! LOL!

I found this article on The People’s View in the Comments. It explains clearly why Sanders has no support from his colleagues. Barney Frank is a bit lackadaisical in his approach to President Obama sometimes, but all in all I still like him and he can really be a truth teller.
