A sheroās theme. Made me think of Wonder Woman the recent movie and of the women of the movement who are currently kicking ass and taking no prisoners.
In reality, Graham-Cassidy is the opposite of moderate. It contains, in exaggerated and almost caricature form, all the elements that made previous Republican proposals so cruel and destructive. It would eliminate the individual mandate, undermine if not effectively eliminate protection for people with pre-existing conditions, and slash funding for subsidies and Medicaid. There are a few additional twists, but theyāre all bad ā notably, a funding formula that would penalize states that are actually successful in reducing the number of uninsured.
Did this billās sponsors ā Lindsey Graham, Bill Cassidy, Ron Johnson and Dean Heller ā manage to get through months of health care debate without learning anything about the issue? Maybe. But surely the rest of the Senate, not to mention much of the public, has wised up about false Republican promises. A huge majority of voters, almost two to one, consider it a good thing that previous attempts at repealing and replacing Obamacare failed.
Yet there is a real chance that Graham-Cassidy, which is similar to but even worse than previous Republican proposals, will nonetheless become law, because not enough people are taking it seriously.
So once again an army of our citizens have to mobilize to beat back those that wish to take away our healthcare. For a moment forget about NASA exploring new galaxies, or the new iphone that has facial recognition technology. Forget about all the wondrous and new discoveries that man makes almost on a daily basis. I was watching an old episode of star trek the other day and it hit me that how insane it would be if the crew of the enterprise were engaged in a battle with star fleet command to provide healthcare for all of her crew.
I just did my second RESIST message to all three reps in DC. Also tried doing same for my governor, but itās not set up to take fax or email so I called. Difficult because I have bronchitis really bad and can hardly talk. Also only slept couple hours last night so feel like crap, but we canāt let up. Gotta push through.

In reality, Graham-Cassidy is the opposite of moderate. It contains, in exaggerated and almost caricature form, all the elements that made previous Republican proposals so cruel and destructive. It would eliminate the individual mandate, undermine if not effectively eliminate protection for people with pre-existing conditions, and slash funding for subsidies and Medicaid. There are a few additional twists, but theyāre all bad ā notably, a funding formula that would penalize states that are actually successful in reducing the number of uninsured.
Did this billās sponsors ā Lindsey Graham, Bill Cassidy, Ron Johnson and Dean Heller ā manage to get through months of health care debate without learning anything about the issue? Maybe. But surely the rest of the Senate, not to mention much of the public, has wised up about false Republican promises. A huge majority of voters, almost two to one, consider it a good thing that previous attempts at repealing and replacing Obamacare failed.
Yet there is a real chance that Graham-Cassidy, which is similar to but even worse than previous Republican proposals, will nonetheless become law, because not enough people are taking it seriously.
So once again an army of our citizens have to mobilize to beat back those that wish to take away our healthcare. For a moment forget about NASA exploring new galaxies, or the new iphone that has facial recognition technology. Forget about all the wondrous and new discoveries that man makes almost on a daily basis. I was watching an old episode of star trek the other day and it hit me that how insane it would be if the crew of the enterprise were engaged in a battle with star fleet command to provide healthcare for all of her crew.

I just did my second RESIST message to all three reps in DC. Also tried doing same for my governor, but itās not set up to take fax or email so I called. Difficult because I have bronchitis really bad and can hardly talk. Also only slept couple hours last night so feel like crap, but we canāt let up. Gotta push through.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said America will pay a high price if President Donald Trump makes good on his threats to scrap the Iran nuclear deal.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with CNNās Christiane Amanpour in New York, Rouhani said: “Exiting such an agreement would carry a high cost for the United States of America, and I do not believe Americans would be willing to pay such a high cost for something that will be useless for them.”

i think of today….despite the fact that POC, blk folks in particular are the most reliable voters for the DEMS…they will not embrace us and build from there….they seek to make a compromise with the devil…Sanders and his folks…they seek to reach out to those elusive white voters while turning their back on POC…but they still expect us to vote for them…
It is time for POC to make real moves to demand seats at the table….and i donāt mean to be just the help…but to be the decision makers…
Sanders MUST KNOW that Russia will use him again to divide us if he runs. Will he pretend otherwise? Will keep on repeating imo
