Just 24 hours after President Donald Trump took aim at Pakistan on Twitter, the South Asian nation already appears to be cozying up to the worldās second-largest economy.
A day after the U.S. leader slammed Islamabad for harboring terrorists in a New Yearās Day tweet, Pakistanās central bank announced that it will be replacing the dollar with the yuan for bilateral trade and investment with Beijing.
The same day, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang defended Islamabadās counter-terrorism track record, saying the country “made great efforts and sacrifices for combating terrorism” and urged the international community to “fully recognize this.”

Many may remember the good old days when someone came out quickly, said Hello, then pumped the gas while they cleaned the windows, checked the oil and the air in the tires, took the payment and thanked you for being a customer. I suppose thatās how we became so accepting of big oil and the fossil fuel demands on life. Anyway, congratulations, Oregon, I guess.
I have read where pumping your own gas did not really save on the gas prices as the station then only employs one person to be inside manning the cash register. So there is less customer service and more profit to the big oil companies. I have done both and preferred Oregonās rules. I have been to stations where the pumps donāt work correctly and spew gas, customers use their cell phones while pumping gas regardless of the signage. Safety can be an issue. It is not really a freedom issue or like we have the right. It is like another gift to big oil.
