I was on the fence about the Dems holding out because of DACA. Chris Hayes did a tweet saying that the GOP wants to deport all the Dreamers, but won’t come out and admit it. I realize that he is.absolutely correct. And, those stories that we post, here and there.. doing it to DACA would put it Front and Center for many Americans who don’t read those stores like we do. They want the Dems to do the dirty work for them. To that I SAY HELL NO 😠

Why are CNN workers (they do not deserve to be called journalists) trying so desperately to cast the Democrat senators as the perpetrators in the shutdown of the government? They have been irritatingly doing this all day. Are they trying to get Donald Trump to reverse his fake news award to CNN?
I was reading on a different site that turnout for the marches wasn’t big but looking at these pictures, it looks like a pretty impressive turnout to me.

On CNN yesterday, voters in Iowa were interviewed, all were older white men. Other than a couple who still supported PP, the rest made comments like, it’s going to take another PBO to fix the country, the stock market surge is because of PBO … can’t remember the rest but they were basically praising PBO.

National Park Shutdown Update (Please Read):
Park superintendents have the discretion to close areas on a case-by-case basis for the purpose of protecting public safety or natural resources. This means that certain parks, park entrances, or areas of a park may be closed by a locked gate. If you decide to attempt a visit to a national park, make sure you have a backup plan.
1) NPS won’t operate its 401 sites. NPS has stopped providing visitor services and facilities are locked. Visitor centers, restrooms, trash collection, visitor information, educational programs, and permits are not available.
2) Roads that go through or around national parks remain open, but won’t be maintained (including no plowing). For mountain pass conditions, check with the Washington Department of Transportation.
3) NPS won’t operate campgrounds. NPS won’t provide services, and facilities are locked including restrooms, showers, check-in/check-out, reservations and trash collection.
4) NPS websites and social media won’t be maintained, and there won’t be updates on road or trail conditions.
5) At the park superintendent’s discretion, individual parks may close sensitive areas that are vulnerable to natural resource damage or looting.“
I feel concerned the shooters and killers may take this as an opportunity to go into the wildness places to kill wildlife wintering in what are usually safe areas. Animals know. Long ago, living in Banff National Park, wardens documented how the moose, elk, deer, bears, all of them, would come inside the park boundaries once the hunting season started up outside the parks.
