All last week I was at annual training, annual training is when we get together for job related classes. Basically we sit around and tell war stories about the job. Anyway, about three days into training the CEO walks in and informs us that we are in the process of downsizing the agency in which I work. But the good news is that everyone will keep their jobâŠâŠfor now. There is a big push for privatization in government which will have an adverse effect on government employees. Iâve got 18 years in federal law enforcement so I can retire in two years. But unfortunately the younger people that I work with donât have nearly as much time in that I do. And these were the same employees that walked around saying âmake America great againâ in departmental meetings. And every time they said it everyone thought it was funny. I didnât because I knew what Trump was all about, voting has consequences, real life consequences. And now these ‘MAGAâ guys will be the first to get axed because they donât have a lot of time in, shit ainât funny no more.
Thereâs an old phrase âș … ‘serves them rightâ that I used to hear (and use) when i was growing up, usually said to someone who is being ass-ish and is then proven wrong.
Quite apt for the MAGA crowd I would say. After they have a tendency to vote against their own self-interest (by thinking that they are sticking it to the others ).

A Pennsylvania State police trooper said there is “no motive, no reason” that authorities are aware of for a mass shooting early Sunday in Fayette County.
Five people are dead, three men and two women, and a sixth person is injured. Those who are dead died of gunshot wounds, according to Trooper Robert Broadwater of the Uniontown State Police barracks. He said it is unclear at this point whether the sixth victim sustained gunshot wounds.
A state police detective at the scene and who asked that he not be named said a man is suspected in the shooting. He said itâs unclear whether the suspect is dead or alive, but said he had been shot. The detective said it is unclear whether the suspect shot himself.
The detective also confirmed that the suspect was wearing body armor.

But there has been NOTHING about Melaniaâs guests for tomorrowâs SOTU address…or am I just missing something?
Also, the media used to be VERY anxious and hyped up in the days leading up to Obamaâs SOTU, with panel after panel predicting what he will say, what he should say, what he MUST say, and how this was going to be the biggest test of his Presidency. But now, the bar for Trump is set so low, all they can talk about is how “presidential” he will look if he recites off some meaningless words on a teleprompter. The day before a SOTU address heâs trying to get into a Twitter argument with a rap artist. And where the hell is Melania Trump?
