Those that originally went in with Trump thought that they were going in for a tax cut or two and maybe an immigration bill. Little did they know that trump was going in for something bigger, the soul of America. If you look at the faces of all of those that make up his cabinet and his agency heads, they all have the same look on their faces, and it is a look of sheer terror. Poor Steven Mnuchin, he thought he signed up to move a few decimal points in trumpās favor, and now he looks like heās afraid of his own shadow. No one close to trump sleeps well at night, they all live in fear of whatās coming.
What do they think is coming…and if they are so terrified…why are they still in it??

My problem with Elizabeth Warren is her quickness to jump into a decision without being pragmatic about getting to the goal in steps. Example her stand against PBOās work to form TPP (I am awful remembering correct acronyms) and now her jumping into impeachment instead of seeing that Nancy may have an excellent strategy of holding investigations heading towards impeachment that builds public awareness for the need that may be preferable. I especially think EW should recognize that the Senate will not impeach DT. It is essential we win the presidency. I like EWās policies and economic knowledge, but am not sure she has the right temperament or experience for presidential foreign affairs. She is somewhat like Bernie with her way or the highway stands. Granted she is much preferable to Trump.
Theyāre all much preferable to trump (except for a couple EEKs in the crowd), but the most “real” thing I heard about Elizabeth Warren after the CNN Town Hall was from a pundit who said every time he heard her speak, it was like she was “giving a TED talk.”
The only low thing Iāll say about her is that, although she tries, she lacks charisma and warmth and doesnāt connect that well (and thatās not my #1 reason not to vote for somebody, but I got spoiled by the Obamas and Iām the first to admit it).

Trump has tipped the SC 5 to 4 conservative. Everything will be influenced by this and census skewing towards the GOP by negating Hispanic and minority counts will affect the Representative count in the House taking away Dem advantage. It will affect government funding for traditionally blue states too. Changing the Rep count, messing with voter ID laws, changing days to vote, places to vote, purging voters off of rolls, siding with foreign entities to encourage hacking into voting machines and buying voting machines from foreign countries without backup paper ballots are all GOP tactics. Woe is us! I would like to be hopeful. Really I would. I did read that Ivanka was starting a company to buy voting machines made for her in China for the state of Georgia.
BTW, the last sentence about Ivankaās purchase was not meant to fit into the hopeful category.

Canaan is a high level USP with a minimum prison camp next door. I think Manafort is going straight to the Pen, but with good behavior and if he work his programs heāll see a camp in a couple of years, but even a few years in a Pen will wear his ass out. But still, to start out at a Pen will be devastating to him. I would have thought they would have sent him to a medium level institution at worst.

Besides trying to read the Mueller Report, catch up on this blog, watch Rachel and Lawrence I am reading David Axelrodās book Believer. Remember when it seemed like VP Biden was ahead of PBO on LGBTQ rights? Reading the background of what was happening behind the scenes Obama was wanting to support the change quite awhile before his campaign allowed it. He was already set to announce this change a week after Biden answered a reporterās question put to him honestly. Everyone in the re-election campaign except for PBO was really mad that Biden took Obamaās announcement excitement away. Obama did not blame Biden for answering the question honestly saying Joe has a good heart. I really was surprised to read that as the media certainly presented it differently.

Next year everyone needs to take at least one other person to the polls and vote successfully (and by that I mean names are not being purged from voter rolls etc …). Take a day off from work if possible. This is really all hands on deck situation.
Preferably paper ballots but … because enough is enough. Time to stand up to the bullies.
