Time: Photographer Callie Shell had extraordinary access to the Obama White House. In this video documentary, she describes how she captured her behind-the-scenes images of the first 100 days (May 2009)
Callie Shell’s book: President Obama – The Path to the White House
I want Callie Shell’s book under my tree for Christmas! She’s so talented and I LOVE her subject matter! I especially love any photos of President Obama and his gorgeous wife, First Lady Michelle, together. The love, respect and attraction they have for each other is inspirational. They obviously have a great marriage. It’s really wonderful to watch them.
Of course, when President Obama is on his own, he’s not bad. In fact, he’s obviously one of the best presidents this country has ever had. His command of the world stage, his diplomatic skills, his intelligent, highly evolved leadership in times of crisis like these is really a beacon of light for anyone honest enough to witness it for themselves. Those who spread hatred and fear to keep us divided and conquered want us to ignore this man. Pretend he doesn’t exist. Forget what he’s already accomplished and denegrate whatever he does, because if enough Americans SEE and HEAR him on a regular basis, he’ll have the whole country cheering him on.
You expressed your view so well, it shows that you feel at ease on this site to say such things, knowing they will be appreciated. This site is a breath of fresh air, and be advised that a few others are starting up their own sites as well, because they’ve grown tired and weary of the disrespect and hatred shown at those other so-called progressive pages….NOT!. Those others don’t know what real progression is. Progression is patience and close observation, to begin with. Then acting on those observations after careful analysis. Sort of like, you know, our president (-:
