I just love that video, they are just a normal family full of love.

Love it too Sonjia. When Michelle says at the end: “Barack has always said that our life would be interesting and I can say that it has been phenomenally interesting – and I’m sure it will continue to be” ….. she can’t have had any idea just how interesting it was about to get ๐Ÿ™‚

THAT IS PRICELESS…THE OBAMAS ARE SUCH WONDERFUL ROLE MODELS…AS PARENTS AND AS A LOVING COUPLE. WE ARE TRULY BLESSED TO HAVE THEM IN THE WHITE HOUSE. IT’S NOT AN EASY LIFE…LIVING IN THAT ‘DC’ FISHBOWL…BUT, THEY ARE DEDICATED TO SERVING THEIR COUNTRY…AND IT SHOWS!

      Amen
My husband asked me how long I am going to keep the blog going, keep going to Dem meetings, keep calling folks. I said – when the President quits, I will too. President Obama has such a strong work ethic, he is a determined and tireless worker. I would have lost my temper and yelled long ago. I hope everyone eventually comes to appreciate him like we do.

It is inspiring. We hear so much negative talk about our President, and, at times that makes me really sad. The documentary reinforces my reality of Barack Obama and his wonderful family.

Chipsticks, I just notice your hit numbers. Very nice.

I’ve always wondered why she said, “Barack doesn’t photograph that well.” I’ve never seen a bad photo of Barack.

I think it was just the ears things she was referring to ๐Ÿ™‚

She must have been refering to pictures taken by amateur photographers. You know the ones that get taken in the family sometimes? The President seems like a ‘natural’ before the cameras to me.

Must be. I try not to say this much out of respect for him and his office, but I think he’s a heartthrob. I just love his smile. My heart skips a beat just seeing a photo of him smiling. I think it’d just stop if I ever met him and he flashed a smile at me.

Let’s face it. It’s not only how pretty they all are outside, it’s how tremendously beautiful and caring they are inside as well.

That said, he is SMOKIN HOT. He smiles, I melt. And Michelle is GORGEOUS. Those girls are going to be strikingly beautiful when they grow up.

I think she likes to remind us that despite his enormous charisma, his humility is equal in measure. The right tried to use his charisma against him…….frankly, as a group that seems to respond with zest to superficiality, I think they find President Obama’s charisma very, very threatening. If they allowed themselves to go a little deeper, they risk the truth, making their labels and defenses inconvienently baseless.

Absolutely beautiful family, inside and outside. Malia and Sasha are growing up so fast, I can only imagine what stunning young women they will grow to become.

She sure does Tally. She always seem to express so eloquently exactly what I’m thinking, but could never put into words as she does. Sue, you rock–as do all of the OD folk!

Surprise, surprise the video was done by Harpo/Oprah. I hope all of you are writing to Oprah with some production ideas for Current Events, Good New items Projects that are working to get the message out there that msm is not covering. She does have a radio and cable network.

    Hi Chipsticks:
This my 1st time posting & I just love this site. I’m here all the time for positive news and comments about our beloved President. Sentimental me enjoys watching “old” videos of the Obama family like the above. By the way, can you post the interview Obama did with Conan O’Brien back in 2006? Thanks for all you do and keep up the good work.

    Chipsticks, dear,

You brought a smile to my face. I’ve been under quite a bit of stress lately with my S/O being in a nearby VA hospital for about 8 weeks, and counting, and coming here to watch the videos, read the news, read the great comments, and partake of the sanity found here has helped me tremendously. I love this blog and your devotion to spreading the good news about our First Family and PBO’s compassion for us shown by the things he does to improve the country. I can’t thank you enough.
