Oh, look at our President in another one of those meetings he doesn’t attend. (snark)
LOL.
Shallow me, where are the apples?
I was wondering the same thing…
Looks intense to me. Oh to be a fly on the wall.
Mr. President, please bring our troops home from that unwinnable war! Let’s build OUR country, not theirs!
Not sure if you have heard but POTUS already promised July to be the beginning of the draw down. So the premise of your request has already been answered, let us pray that nothing occurs to change that. Please run and tell that news with the same fervor you are requesting for the draw down.
I personally feel military combat will end sooner than later in Afghanistan just like how it ended sooner in Iraq but July is the declared beginning.
Thanks Kelly – for spreading this factual information. The good thing abou these kind of inquiries is that a lot of people who haven’t been exposed to the truth in the last two years are starting to speak up, and just in time for the 2012 campaign. It’s going to be a lot of fun pointing them in the direction of the truth as you just did, and hopefully, seeing some of their eyes grow wide when they realize just how much this President has done in these past two years, while the Republicans have been sitting on their thumbs, or actively making things harder for him to rescue this country – or devising their destructive schemes. It’s frustrating for those of us who have been paying attention, but it will be rewarding to get the truth out.
The President has that look at Gen. David Petraeus, and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates has such an intense stare I wonder if this is really bad news.
My only concern is that military men like David Petraeus who rely on war and conflict to burnish their bona fides and to stay important and relevantn have little interest in ending the wars we are in. I fear that they will try to sabotage and undermine the President’s plans to end these wars.
How can these military types be hailed “heroes” and lavished with attention as they have been these past several years if there are no wars?! And don’t forget billion dollar defense contracts for their pals. No, I don’t trust Petraeus!
Some serious business and real talk going on there. Don’t even wanna know what they are saying, I trust this Pres to make the correct decisions.
