** sigh **

Are the Teabaggers designing Halperin’s graphics now? Real classy. πŸ™„

Update: Interesting – the graphic now appears to have been removed from the site (well, I can’t see it anyway). The new headline story? Yep, you guessed it, it’s about the half-termer meeting the Chump.

I have a question for Halperin since he seems so smart. Perhaps he could enlighten us by writing a column on the topic.

Uncle Halperin, do ants snore when sleeping at night?

Honestly Halperin gives DOUCHEBAGS a bad name. He’s pure and utter scum. I knew he was a repug/teabagger posing as a reasonable and “smart” political “expert”. He doesn’t know truth and facts from his a$$. He’s filth, drivel, scum, crap, an empty barrel, an idiot, a nincompoop, an ass-hat, stupid, dumber than a doorknob, mud, dirt, an a-hole, a jerk, a numb nut, a jack-ass, a butthead and the biggest pile of trash ever known to man.

Why isn’t he asking Republicans, WHERE ARE THE JOBS?

146 days into Boehner’s tenure and ZERO jobs bills introduced. Nothing but obstruction of the people’s business, culturally divisive bills, destruction of women’s rights and symbolic votes.

Why in the hell is anyone surprised that this short circuited dumba$$ is doing this? Have we forgotten when he did this in 08?

and this clip which borders on giving McCain fellatio……

Halperin is the same hacktastic piece of Santorum he has always been. No surprise. We just need to get to work re-electing our guy. We ignored him last time, letss do it again.

      What a lopsided Panel…

The despicable racist quartet of George Will, Mark Halperin, Cokie Roberts, George Stephanopoulos against Barack Obama with the sadly feeble Donna Brazile mumbling for fear of losing her gig…

What the hell was that? I’m sending that ass a hot note. Pardon my salty language, but I’m sick of these paid shills trying to piss on MY president because they’re a bunch of greedy losers.

We all know this guy, like 98% of the other people who are allowed to speak regularly in our MegaMedia and thereby shape our public discourse, are paid to do one thing – do whatever they can to keep the American public voting against their best interests. We know this. It’s intentional. They know exactly what they’re doing.

Having said that, this might be a good time to remind those here of sound mind: WWOD (What Would Obama Do). Let’s not stoop to the level of Republicans and their propagandists.

      May 31, 2011 at 7:47 pm

I agree we shouldn’t stoop to their level, but they must be held accountable. We must fight back because their lies cause people to vote the way they did in 2010 which affects MY life too. And I will not sit back and let the ignorant, bigoted tea party send me back to slavery, which is what they want to do. I will not sit back and let them make me ride the back of the bus. I will not sit back and allow the tea party to make it even harder for me to get a job. They already almost ruined the economy among other things. If we just continue to let this kind of stuff slide, we are saying it’s okay to mess up our lives.

I agree on the accountability and pushback. I was addressing some of the aggressive name calling. President Barack Hussein Obama leads by example in this regard, and it has amazed me how much his leadership has altered how I act myself in day-to-day life. Peace!

I agree, which means we stand up to what is true. President Obama is fearless, and arms himself with facts. He is also a master at allowing the opposition to hang itself on their own rope.

God, can you believe this guy is the senior political analyst of Time Magazine ??!!!!

Looking at his “Page” today, it’s EXCLUSIVELY about republicans. Granted republicans are going to have busy primaries, but jeezzz….

I think I’m going to write to the editor of Time magazine…

And he made money off of President Obama with his stupid book, which is now being made into a movie. Funny,he ridiculed palin in his silly book, that now he’s fawning all over her as though she’s the best thing since sliced bread. They are all users and hypocrites.

    • May 31, 2011 at 8:06 pm

You’re right LP, just checked it a while ago – there are 13 stories on the page, 12 of them about Republicans! And, needless to say, the half-termer is the lead story … again. Although, he’s showing a lot of love for Romney these days too, Mitt seems to give him a shiver up his leg.

A long time ago I followed Halperin often–tuning in to “The Page.” This was during the campaign initially. Then I started to mistrust him. What he stated about Obama or McCain was not borne out by the facts. I realized he was in the Republican fold, that he had a nice face and once in a while he came out and his true self acknowledged Obama’s strengths. (Often his acknowledgements were because of the obvious, and he wanted to be on the side that was acknowledging the obvious.) Most of the rest of the time however, he was a David Brooks. Always looking for a way of making himself feel better about his right-wing pre-dispositions even if it was crystal clear he was wrong.

Is this a joke? One way to look at the increasing craziness, is the level of desperation it represents. President Obama would not elicit such off the chain behavior if he wasn’t a serious and legitimate threat to the centers of power that have for to long held sway. GOVCHRIS1988 is right, eyes on the prize!

Who is this Halperin person and why is he worthy of 2 updates in a 24 hour period on TOD? He seems to me like all the other complicit media hacks that trolls for the Republican party 24/7. What am I missing?

    • May 31, 2011 at 8:43 pm

Woah, calm down Kelly, this isn’t WhiteHouse.gov, it’s a personal blog and I just post random stuff that takes my interest. Because Halperin works for Time he’s presented by the MSM as a ‘respected’ and supposedly neutral political commentator – when I spot the proof that he’s not, I like to post it.

Chips, I thank you for posting because we have to know who the opposition is and what they are doing so that we can correct the lies with the truth. These are people passed off by the media as impartial and knowledgeable when they are nothing but right wing shills. The American people need to know this.

It must be very dark and sad inside of his heart. There are so many stories out there of people suffering in Jolpin that he could have put his pen to a better service. Or even better why not showcase our young families who are trying to meet ends meet with their young families while their spouses are serving to keep this self-centered, ugly spirited man safe and free to be a writer. Put your pen to better use Mr. Halperin. What a shameful person you are today. Sad. Karma does visit people like yourself.

Will it do any good? I doubt it, but Halperin will be hearing for me. I don’t trust the bastard.
