I have a feeling inspite of the MSM sabotage efforts of PBO’s re-election the CREAM will rise to the top. This has been the worst August recess of his Presidency and yet PBO keeps on tickin’. ๐Ÿ˜€

Wasn’t the teaparty fiasco last August, or was that just a nightmare I had? I think we’re winning this year (no matter what the MSM says).

President Obama is absolutely brilliant in answering these interview questions. No one has ever done it better. Everything is always stated in the best possible way. He answers as if some panel had studied the questions for weeks and handed him their conclusions on the most perfect answers.

Lisa, you know our President. Do not play that s… with him, “If: like hell, “When” that is classic President Obama. These fools do not still know who they are trying to mess with. That is one reason that I love this man.

  4. August 16, 2011 at 6:24 pm

Poor Leslie; always the little man fool!

OT, the other day some were asking/commenting on Vancouver. This is my home; it really is lovely.
And, also OT, I think Tally was wondering about eligible men. What age bracket?

On a temporary basis, I wish we could join the USA, so we could give PBO a landslide re-election. A good majority of us love him; even with the crap slung by the RW media stations.

What age bracket…….. hmmmm…. 40 & up. Depends on the guy. While I’ve dated younger, I need a grown up.

Gerry Butler is almost 42, YUM. Sting is 60, and I’d jump him in a minute (though that is way past how older than me I’ve ever dated.) I’ve been La Cougรกr most of my life – before it was cool. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I require smart, FUNNY, sexy, and someone who worships smart women. And liberal. I could never do what James C & Mary M do. How they don’t kill each other is beyond me. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I just finished watching the whole CNN Interview and I really enjoyed it. You know why? Because I muted Wolf through the whole thing and unmuted my remote when the President was talking. The best way to watch an interview. The President is so cool and calm and dare I say….Dashing!!! And I love when he corrected Wolf at the end…..”WHEN I’m elected”. Love my Pres.

Hahaha. PBO is master politician. Wolf Blitzer aka Leslie asked the President that when he won the election in 2008 he promised Malia and Sasha a dog and he made good on that promise. So Wolf said “If you’re re-elected, what will you get the girls this time.” President Obama replied “WHEN I’m re-elected, I’ll get the girls more SS guys who have guns so that boys don’t get close to them.” ๐Ÿ˜†

What is Michael Steele’s soul worth I wonder…

    Self-loathing is a terrible affliction…

    • August 16, 2011 at 6:44 pm

He is a poor example of a man. He has no convictions and fly with whatever direction the wind is blowing. He is a sad sack. He always say that Dems do the same thing which is a big lie. He could not name any examples when Rev. Al asked him for examples.

PBO just killed that interview both on and off record. I just said on Twitter that Perry, Romney, Bachman and the entire clown car better look hard @ PBO unleashed and decide whether they wannna compete with him come next year. Their only saving grace will be FOX and their media lackeys.

    • August 16, 2011 at 7:21 pm

Wolf tried to get the President to say something about the T-GOP field, all the President said was he will be ready when and whoever they choose as their nominee. He will be ready, and so will we.

    • August 16, 2011 at 7:36 pm

That’s the thing. All these polls now are meaningless because President Obama has been taking non-shop attacks against him from both sides for over two years. Other than doing a bit of campaigning for the 2010 cycle, he’s not dished anything out yet. Now polls show Romney within 5 points in most States – that’s without even one attack ad being aired against him, that’s with just one mealy mouthed attack from Pawlenty during a debate after he passed at doing so in the first debate. Romney challenged Teddy Kennedy back in 1994 for his Senate seat, ran for Governor in 2004, ran for President in 2008 and in between he was a robber baron venture capitalist making his fortune off the hardship of others- there is crazy oppo research out there ready to bite him in the ass. He stands for nothing other than getting elected. Romneycare covered abortions with a co-pay, wait until that becomes well known.

There is nothing new the GOP can throw out at President Obama, they’ve been in campaign mode against him since before he was even sworn in.

      • August 17, 2011 at 12:33 am

That is true. I liked that part in the interview, where Leslie tries to get something out of PBO regarding the GOP circus, and he basically told him: When they decided who is their sacrificial lamb – then we’ll talk.

I voted for PBO because his compassion, honesty and intelligence was apparent during the campaign. I am originally from Alaska (so I know first hand all about Sarah) and have dual citizenship so I can vote. You can bet that he’ll have my vote in 2012. My working class Canadian friends are puzzled by the hate and vitrol slung at PBO on a daily basis. BTW, Canada has not only universal health care but hate laws as well. His strength of character, patience and tolerance put his opponents to shame. In other words, he’s not only the only adult in the room, he’s truly Christian! Actions speak louder than words!

I think President Obama is really enjoying his midwest escape from D.C. He’s commented about the beautiful weather, the great people he’s met. And from the twitter feed I learned that he made a stop for ice cream and yogurt at DeWitt Dairy Treats in DeWitt, Ia., bought for all, left a big tip, made 2 stops in LeClaire Ia., one at Grasshoppers Gift Shop, wonder what Michelle got—more garden gloves?—-and at Kernel Cody’s Popcorn Shoppe there where he bought 2 bags of kettle corn which he tossed to the press pool. I think he’s having himself a fun time, so happy to be away from the craziness and be a bit more of a normal person. And there is news that big barriers are going up around the Blackhawk Hotel in Davenport, Ia., everyone assuming President Obama & Co. are spending the night there.

Birds of a feather flock together on Twitter: Tapper to Toddโ€™s Defense

Strange interactions happen frequently on the campaign trail. Thank God Social Media ensures that no one misses out.

On Monday ABCโ€™s Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper shared on Twitter, โ€œLocal boy at bakery telling girls about taking photo with @ChuckTodd. โ€˜I put my arm around his waist and he did not return the favor.โ€™โ€

But when a follower tried to trash Todd, Tapper, a longtime friend, wasnโ€™t having it. Beth Anne: โ€œ@jaketapper who wld want a pic w/Todd? Even worseโ€ฆwho would want his arm around them?โ€

Tapper replied to Beth Anne, saying, โ€œHeโ€™s a great dude. Donโ€™t bash him in my twitter feed.โ€

TOD Family I went out and got myself a look alike large cone at the Dairy Queen to match the President’s. Remember those Daily Queens? I sat there( nice evening out here) with my 2012 button on and licksed my ice cream until a big crown came in with a lot of little ones. I love my sweet children, but not too much noise. But I made a grand exit with my 2012 button on my left brest. Got lots of stares. I love it. I thought of President Obama as I enjoyed mine. Then I got in my little sport car and road off in the sunset. it was a nice ssunset and the jazz was “Kind of Blue’ Miles Davis, one of President Obama’s favorites. Thanks for the photos Chips. I will pay the price for the ice cream tonight, (no daily products) but the pain meds will take care of it. A girl has to do what she has to do. I enjoyed every moment of it. Love you all very much, HZ

I was just starting my Poe rehearsal, and the phone rang. I thought it was one of my actors, but it was a poll – so I took it. While they asked about the POTUS, and I kept repeating, ‘BEST POTUS IN MY LIFETIME’, it was more about a new progressive guy running for Senate, Brad Sherman, who I had not heard of. Still, I made the guy laugh, and he totally thanked me for, “being such a bright light” in his night. ๐Ÿ˜€ How sweet was that????!!!

My actors were stunned. No one around here ever gets polled.

There were several questions about unions including, “Do you know anyone who is a member of a labor union?” To which I responded, “YES. ME. I’m in THREE!”

    ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€
