YOUR PIC IS NOT ON THERE..AND THE ANSWER IS…CERTAINLY NOT! WE HAVE TO WORK HARD THO’…LOTS OF GOOD OLE BOYS OUT THERE WHO WILL VOTE FOR THIS NUTCASE!
Good grief … Please God, Nooooo.
P.S. The cows have it.
This is hilarious!!! You are on a roll Chips. 🙂
My sister lives in Texas and she absolutely detest Perry. She said that he showed up at her church one Sunday uninvited and asked to speak. This type of behavior from him, plays into the “Rick Perry will do anything and say anything” to win meme. People keep saying that he has never lost an election. Is this suppose to make people fear him? When I look at him, my skin crawls. The only thing missing from him is a pitchfork.
Please ask your sister why do Texans keep electing this guy? Is there election fraud? people don’t vote? I read on one of the Diaries here about Texas that 49% of the women don’t vote? If that’s the case we have our work cut out for us. I remember when Texas was a very Democratic state then all hell (Republicans) broke loose.
Texas millions and evangelicals who choose to vote against their own interest on wedge issues and apathy is how he got elected all of those years.
YeeeHaaaw! Out of the heifer dust and into the cow pies!
I’m scared because a lot of people like Perry’s behavior and I fear would vote for another Bush.
But if we get out and vote, there are more of us than them.
Please don’t be scared….. be determined to help in anyway you can not to let this happen.
My goodness Chipsticks – you’re in a funny mood today. ROFL!!!
😯 Maybe my longtime predictions of a Romney nomination have been premature. Rick Perry will appeal to all the REDNECKS in my neck of the woods. No matter who we come up against it is going to be a tough fight for the 2012 Whitehouse. Maybe not so much if Bachmann won the nomination, but Perry will be a formidible force with the Texas Oil millions. Maybe the Bush family will help DEMS keep him out of the Whitehouse. After all they want JEB running in 2016.
The whinning Left including the CBC better all get on the SAME team or we are going to have someone worse than BUSH in the Whitehouse if we don’t PULL together. 😯
Hilarious and scary and mind-boggling. I shake my head that this kind of person, who celebrates anti-intellectualism—-who is gleeful about not knowing much—— is currently leading the crazy GOP possibilities. And people who should know better, who should be horrified at this prospect, discuss this 2.2 grade point candidate with a straight face as if it were fine by them that he become the POTUS. Geez—-how nutty is this? Answer: Nutty to the max.
In opposite news, in smart people news, here is update on things Obama—-beach, Women’s Equality Day, Irene and more:
Whoops, be back with linky.
Unfortunately there will be enough IGNORANCE in our nation that voting for a non-intellectual, a GOOD OLE BOY that the uneducated masses can relate too will be better than a STUFFY, UPPIDDY, BRILLIANT BLACK MAN who can’t seem to reduce the unemployment rate. LOTS OF WORK TO DO FOLKS. MY Romney bandwagon is starting to lose its wheels. We have a more DANGEROUS opponent on our hands. 😦
Heads of over 100 major companies have joined Starbucks Corp. CEO Howard Schultz in a pledge to boycott political donations until Congress and the president agree on a long-term debt and deficit plan, Schultz announced in a letter Wednesday.
Schultz’ pledge also asks leaders to personally take action by accelerating job creation within their own companies.
Schultz has long donated to Democrats, handing over around $100,000 over the past 15 years to Democratic candidates and committees, according to the Center for Responsive politics. The Center lists a single Republican donation by Schultz: $1,000 to Sen. John McCain in 1999.
On Wednesday, website http://www.upwardspiral2011.org and an accompanying Facebook page were launched to connect citizens, businesses and organizations over Schultz’ pledge.
Good, I still don’t trust them, nor will I support them with my consumer spending until they divorice themselves from Morning Jackals.
That is my personal prerogative.
Rick Spareme won’t even make through the primary season. Building on the success of his brilliant use of the phrase “who let the dogz out,” Mittmo just came out with his official campaign song which guarantees him the Repub nomination. Behold the power of the Romnutz:
I heard a discussion on a radio program yesterday where all agreed that Perry would very likely be the nominee, that he’ll have great appeal to the least among us, he’ll get them all riled up, that Wall St. will jump on his bandwagon because Perry has proven he can be bought, that they will be able to call the shots, Perry will be their puppet. And he will have tons of money to run a brutal campaign.
I suspect Perry has the advantage because of the Fundamentalist movement (or the Domionist, or the Devil worshippers ,whatever the hijacked religious movement – which I absolutely do not conflate with Christianity. I’ld imagine, being Mormon is a big obstacle for these “christian” supporters to overcome.
I would so love religion to be left out of politics…but as always, I ask too much.
PoliticusUSA pulls back the curtain on Rick Perry and exposes some sloppy and sugar coated analysis form Mark Halperin in Time Magazine.
3 Things Time Magazine Wouldn’t Tell You About Rick Perry
Look at Time Magazine’s gloss of the Texas superstar. For the week of August 22, Time sent Mark Halperin to have a look at Rick Perry and the result is superficial at best. What is truly disappointing about this is that Halperin is the senior political analyst for Time magazine, Time.com, and MSNBC. A senior political analyst ought to be able to analyze things for his pay – something, anything. He is also a board member on the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College. So why doesn’t Halperin analyze?
Instead we find out that there are doubts about Perry’s intellectual powers, that the Tea Party loves Rick Perry, the fact that “Republicans have put a Texan on their ticket in six of the last eight presidential elections” and that Perry has never lost an election. According to Halperin, Perry’s biggest problem is going to be his careless mention of the attractions of secession, but we all know even if Halperin does not that Perry won’t answer questions about this; as Halperin himself admits, Perry will just drone on endlessly about his “jobs” record in Texas.
In truth, Perry won’t have much of a problem because the mainstream media, as represented by Halperin himself and Time Magazine, won’t take off the kid gloves and actually show some journalistic integrity by doing some work. I would respectfully suggest that Time divert its funds to somebody who might actually be willing to honestly analyze a candidate rather than right a light piece of fluff that would better find a home in People Magazine.
How does such scum rise to the top. Halperin is a overpayed hack, and dwells in the trivial and obvious.
Rick Perry goes after Rich Romeny on healthcare……
Rick Perry: Extending Private Health Insurance To Everyone Is ‘A Huge Problem’
Rick Perry took a shot at Mitt Romney’s Massachusetts health care law this morning during his first one-on-one sit down interview with Laura Ingraham. The 2006 measure, which has extended health care coverage to some 98 percent of state residents, is a “huge problem,” Perry predicted, saying that the plan paved the way for Obamacare:
INGRAHAM: What makes you a better decision-maker on health care issues than he is?
PERRY: I think he’s finally recognizing that the Massachusetts health care plan that he passed is a huge problem for him. And yea, it was not almost perfect. I truly believe that you have to have the free market in play with out health care. I think Obamacare, which was modeled after the Massachusetts plan, was an absolute debacle.
Obama Cares! Perry is a self serving Texas sized jackass.
Kinda funny how these self-proclaimed manly men, Gov. Goodhair and Shrub, were male cheerleaders during their most virile years. President Barack Hussein Obama was an actual star athlete:
and a reminder of how our guy responds when on the ropes:
My god, he’s gonna crush whoever the Repub nominee is. It’s all about the House and Senate now. Let’s get busy!
Opps..that first one was supposed to be this one: Heh….
Woot woot…..I’m spawn of a hoops are everything family…love this! Whoever compiled this..nice job.
Jeez… Perry is such a moron; which is an accurate representation of the all the morons in Aggieland.
