Tally, I think it would also be nice for us to send some love to Senator Patrick Leahy also. He worked so hard on the Senate Floor to get this to the President’s desk. I followed this one, and I did send Senator Leahy a thank you. They know that we are paying attention and we do appreciate that they are fighting for us and doing their jobs.HZ

This is HUGE, and for all the GOP claiming they looooooove Small Business, yet making fun of this like it’s nothing…

I think PBO should come out and say, “Food, water, and breathing are essential to life.” Or Life is good!” Perhaps then the GOP/Baggers would all starve, and hold their collective breath.

    😀

I love you, Tally. That is a great thought. You think you can come up with something to share with POB and Lisa Jackson at EPA? Great thought.HZ

I wonder where President Obama will go next. So far he has taken the American Jobs Act on the road to ……

    – Richmond, Virginia (9/9)

    – Columbus, Ohio (9/13)

    – Raleigh, North Carolina (9/14)

    – Cincinnati, Ohio – Brent Spence Bridge (9/22)

I’d love to see him down here in my deep red city in Florida.

I think someone said it will be California..

    • September 22, 2011 at 4:25 pm

He’s coming to Washington and California on a fundraising swing beginning on Sunday. Something like this, although I think details are still in flux:

      Sept 25th
Seattle : 2 events – Seattle morning brunch with donors ponying $38,500 per couple. Then a lunch @ $1,000, $2,500 for VIP seating, $7,500 for a photo op.

Silicon Valley (evening): 2 events — a fundraiser reception for $2,500 general admission; $7,500 (or $10,000 for two) for photo op. Then an exclusive dinner at private home in Silicon Valley with $38,500 per person donation. That’s the highest ticket in the whole swing.

On Sept. 26, PBO will be in the Bay Area for the LinkedIn Town Hall.
Then the San Diego area for a noon lunch limited to 160 people at the home of Elizabeth and Mason Phelps in La Jolla. That will cost $5,000 per person; $10,000 per person for a photo line, and $35,800 per couple to be a VIP co-chair.

Then on to LA for a reception at the House of Blues. Prices range from $250 – $10,000. In the evening, dinner and discussion at a restaurant $17,900 per person, $35,800 per couple.

He wraps up his West Coast tour with a stop in Denver on September 27th.

Another initiative that will bring more jobs – the benefits of this legislation will last much longer than the President’s time in office.
Young people who will be the inventors of tomorrow will appreciate the future-directed agenda of President Obama and will shake their
heads in disbelief when they find out how America’s most transformative President was treated by the ignorant naysayers today.

    I love this… it is so America~

Just mind boggling that GOP wants so badly for PBO to fail that NOTHING matters. They cut funding for disaster, first responders, etc. Just amazing the lenghts to which they are willing to destroy the country to destroy one man!!

      • September 22, 2011 at 4:15 pm

it is mind boggling, and so hard to fight also. I mean frankly in what he’s done, what he’s attempting to do for this country, puts President Obama as pretty much the most patriotic President ever.. and yet he’s treated so horribly by media and by too many ignorant others in this country. It is a bizarre world we live in these days.

        • September 22, 2011 at 4:26 pm

Bizarre. indeed!! History will not be kind to them. These things have to be recorded for posterity. That’s why I am glad that we have the Internet. The research will show the total mistreatment and lack of respect by so many toward this president.

Yet, he rises above it all. I think that is one of the things that must get these people’s goat. He never allows them to bring him down to their gutter-laden level. No matter how much they have thrown at him.

See him stand tall one more time. He implored his staff not to turn on each other after the leaks by some in the White House. One more reason why he stands above the rest.

          • September 22, 2011 at 5:03 pm

You’re right, his ability to stand tall in the face of all this is an excellent example to all of us, and takes exceptional inner strength and focus of purpose, he seems to never lose sight of where he’s going. Remember those ads from years ago: Be like Mike… I wanna be like President Barack Obama when I finally grow up~
