I always “donate” for the chance for a dinner with our president….hey I would pay all my expenses (or donate those expenses back to the campaign). I agree…not sure if I could eat either.

will be posting one characteristic of a serial bully daily. From the UK wesite The Serial Bully http://www.bullyonline.org/workbully/serial.htm
    1. the serial bully seems to live in a bubble of the present and when challenged will spontaneously make things up; the bully genuinely seems to believe the fabrication; from a psychiatric viewpoint this could be called confabulation; from a moral viewpoint, it’s called lying

Romney is a serial bully, and needs to be held accountable for his actions and his lies.

The HP politics page has two articles on the half term governor and two articles on Bristol. I see no mention of FLOTUS in Colorado. And some people still think HP is a legitimate blog.

A lot seniors watch Jeopardy. I’ll never forget a friend of mine who was visiting his dad in a nursing home and he said walking through to his dads room you can hear Jeopardy playing on the teevees. I noticed my senior mom watches jeopardy religiously not to try to get the answers just to see who wins. Also once she is on a tv station she just stays there waiting for her show to come on. She’s not much of a channel surfer like I am.

After watching Michelle’s Jeopardy announcement there was a movie trailer selection that listed double jeopardy. Remember the movie Double Jeopardy with Ashley Judd? The photo on the trailer showed the inmate that told her about the double jeopardy rule. It is of an actress many of you have seen over and over on tv and in movies. I have fond memories of her, Roma Mafia. She taught acting in Juneau at a summer kids performing arts camp. My then high school daughter who is 30 today was assigned to be her assistant. My daughter was involved with a local professional acting theater there as well as a dancer and singer. My daughter taught one week of the camp alone while Roma went to film her part in the Double Jeopardy movie. When she came back to finish the camp she came to our home for dinner and told Colleen how you could make acting a career without being a star. My daughter is stage acting today in Chicago. Thanks for the memories.

Setting the Table for Second Term Impeachment
Posted on 06/20/2012 at 11:40 am by Bob Cesca \

Mitch McConnell — albino sleestak and the most powerful Republican in the Senate — accused the president of, basically, Watergate. Not the actual Watergate, but a high crime that’s almost exactly the same.

[T]he Senate’s top Republican also accused the [Obama] administration of improperly using government agencies to exert political pressure.

“What they’re trying to do is intimidate donors to outside groups that are critical of the administration, McConnell said. “The campaign has rifled through donors’ divorce records. They’ve got the IRS, the SEC and other agencies going after contributors trying to frighten people and intimidate them out of exercising their rights to participate in the American political discourse.”

Again, he’s in charge of the Senate Republicans — not some fringy right-wing talk radio goon. I think they’re getting ready for a potential impeachment process if the president wins in November and the Republicans take the Senate.

Darrell Issa is an asshole. Holder offered to release some documents pertaining to fast and furious to the GOP committee yet they wanted him to release all the documents knowing fully well that if those documents fell into the wrong hands or became public knowledge, not only would it endanger the lives of our confidential informants, but AG Holder would have effectively broken the law and could be sued.

These people are soulless, heartless, petty cretins. This is a witch hunt of the worst kind.

Make sure to watch The Ed Show today - he’s going to have on a guy from the committee that is investigating F&F - can’t remember his name, but he was on Ed’s radio show this morning. He was explaining just how STUPID and IGNORANT OF THE CONSTITUTION Idiot Issa is, by asking for docs that are illegal to release. Issa basically wants to hold Holder in Contempt for NOT BREAKING THE LAW. And how OUT OF LINE Issa is for NOT going after A SINGLE DOC OR PERSON FROM THE BUSH YEARS WHO STARTED THE WHOLE THING.

Issa has lost his fucking mind.

    Timeline:
    - Bush’s ATF & AZ admin started F&F
    - Agent got killed because it was a cluster fuck
    - Holder stops the program, and begins investigation
    - Issa begins investigating Holder…….. for what *really*?

WHO IS ISSA TRYING TO PROTECT BY STOPPING HOLDER’S INVESTIGATION?

And why are the media so fucking stupid/LYING about this???

    http://maddowblog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/06/20/12321824-a-windfall-for-the-wealthy

We talked earlier about a new report from the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, which scrutinized the tax plan in the House Republican budget, crafted by Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), and endorsed by Mitt Romney. This afternoon, the specific analysis (pdf) was released, which allows us to dig a little deeper.

In case this isn’t obvious, the middle class would pay a little more every year, while the very wealthy would benefit enormously. In other words, if you liked the ineffective, budget-busting Bush/Cheney tax cuts, you’ll love the Paul Ryan plan endorsed by Romney.

The main difference: under the Ryan/Romney model, millions of middle-class workers will actually end up paying more in taxes.

As for fiscal responsibility that Republicans occasionally pretend to care about, the Tax Policy Center’s Roberton Williams added, “The Ryan plan as laid out is a revenue loser and would make it harder to bring the deficit under control.”

Complete with graph…just so there is no mistake!
