There was a blonde, a brunette and a ginger.

They each get told 1 hundred jokes each, and if they laugh at one they would die.

The brunette got to the 28th joke before she laughed. Poof, she is gone.

The ginger got to 46th. And she is gone too.

And the blonde lived happily ever after.

Now before you go all agley on me, think about it. Who is really the smartest one ?

I can’t help it. He went too far. I don’t think Liv would like it either if she finds out. Something like that changes the person and the people who love them. Can’t believe it. That seemed so out of character for him. SMH. I don’t even know what to think. I know what you’re mad about, but for me, that’s secondary because he did what he did in the church because of what he did in the hospital. The hospital changed him. It hardened him. That’s why he did what he did with his wife. Now, they’re two of a kind. That’s what he was telling her at the end. Oh Fitz. I loved you. πŸ˜₯ πŸ˜₯ πŸ˜₯

O’Donnell finally talk about the Drone issue tonight, but I got the sense he wasn’t as crazy as Maddow and Ed has been. Maddow said it keep her up at night thinking that some American citizen who have join a terrorists group might not be given the chance to surrender. It doesn’t worry Ms. Maddow that we might be attack again. She is more concern about the terrorists who want to kill us.

    • 101 anniebella
      February 7, 2013 at 11:13 pm

Rachel’s buddy, Senator Wyden ask hat question today about giving some American citizen who is member of terrorists group time to surrender.

          February 7, 2013 at 11:28 pm

He did give a good answer, and did you notice how on Rachl’s show she tried to make like the Democratic Senators were against Mr. Brennan. From what I saw alot of them were praising Brennan, maybe except that duck from Oregon.

    • 105 susanne
      February 7, 2013 at 11:17 pm

it’s astounding to me too. does she think these america-born terrorists are being held hostage? because if they want to surrender, they can do that at any time–they don’t need to be invited. it’s fair to assume they are colluding with america’s enemies of their own free will, when there is evidence of repeated participation in lethal operations.

and another thing–congress has determined that america is at war with the terrorists. that is the authority required for the president to direct strikes against the terrorists. if he said no let’s ask if they want to surrender, just imagine what congress would do and say!

Rachel is lying when she says that this keeps her up at night.

Otherwise she must have an extremely charmed and privileged life – which raises some serious red flags about her ability to realistically assess serious and complex policy decisions in an imperfect world.

      • 108 amk for obama
        February 7, 2013 at 11:28 pm

yup. She is lying. And yup, she is eroding her own credibility, whatever little she has.

i think that we should take at face value what she says….

          question …

is the outrage over the use of drones or the use drones to target American Citizens who have plotted with the enemy to kill Americans

          • 111 anniebella
            February 8, 2013 at 6:54 am

As far as I am concern when you join a terrorists group who you know wants to kill Americans, who is America enemy, you become our enemy, and what happen to them happen to you.

Morning prettyfoot58, I would think there are qualified people who the President has put in place, he trust them to do the right thing, and if needed the President would step in. Maybe the President make the decision, after talking with everyone he need to talk with. I don’t know.

              February 8, 2013 at 7:00 am

And when you’re fighting this type of war, you don’t have time to call timeout and ask if any American citizens who has join the terrorists group might want to change their mind and come home. This isn’t a football game. They know darn well what they are doing when they join the terrorists.

Ab, if that’s what she said, she has a weird sense of priorities. What keeps me up at night is all the innocent children and family members who are killed accidentally and intentionally with guns. These are the real victims of American violence, not grown men who collude with terrorists to destroy their country. I don’t watch the Maddow show and I certainly have no incentive to try now.

YARDARM!!!! you rock my man (or swing hard as the case may be πŸ™‚ !) I LOVE Monty Alexander and have seriously worn a hole in my copy of this record Live at Montreux as well as on my Mp3 player. You’ve found it on youtube. Hot Damn! This is one of the bestest and swingin-est live performances of Satin Doll evah. I stopped dead in my tracks when I first heard this version of Satin Doll on the radio many years ago; rushed right over to Tower Records and picked up it immediately. I often play “air piano” to this cut…like a lot. Oh to be able play like him. Monty don’t mess around when it comes to his piano and neither does Jeff Hamilton or John Clayton for that matter. What a find. Thank you!

I am watching “W” and if this is a close characterization of what happened during the run up to his running for President and running up to the war is scary as hell. They show him and Laura going to visit troops who lost legs and burned up and he tells them you’re gonna be better than ever….what goof ball. GWB was Sarah Palin in a suit.

Just a thought. I think they should bring in all those kids who’ve written to the WH, groups at a time, and give them a platform right there in the WH press room. Front & Center. Questions froms them, not WHPC. I would be glued to my TV, devices, whatever. These kids have far superior questions than WHPC. And bring groups of them here & there throughout the next 4 years. I bet PBO, FLOTUS, Carney et al. would just love that, and so would we! πŸ™‚

Interesting Black History tidbit…on this date 2-8-1944

On this date in 1944, Harry S. McAlpin was the first African-American journalist admitted to a white house press conference.

The reporter who was head of the White House Press Correspondents Association said, “Harry, we’re not happy that you’re here, but we can’t stop you from going to these press conferences. However, if you don’t go to these press conferences, we will come out afterward and we will tell you everything that happened.

Why Are Conservatives Trying to Destroy the Voting Rights Act?

The current campaign against the VRA is the result of three key factors: a whiter, more Southern, more conservative GOP that has responded to demographic change by trying to suppress an increasingly diverse electorate; a twenty-five-year effort to gut the VRA by conservative intellectuals, who in recent years have received millions of dollars from top right-wing funders, including Charles Koch; and a reactionary Supreme Court that does not support remedies to racial discrimination….

    • 177 jackiegrumbacher
      February 8, 2013 at 7:54 am

This absolutely infuriates me, PF. We have to fight tooth and nail on this one. I’m disgusted with the R-led states who think suppressing the vote is just fine if it accomplishes their ends. This is an epic battle we have to win.

        hey Jackie…

Check thru the archives of cspan ..there was a conference/seminar that was held at one of the colleges on the west coast in 2012 that addressed this notion of who should has the right to vote…there is a train of thought that only certain folks should have the right to vote..that the vote of poor folks…etc are not valued…
