Hi, CC! Good to see you. ๐Ÿ˜†

ps. Why can’t I sneak in when I’m home but late to the village? /plaintively/ What are you doing hanging around on a Monday – don’t you have any work to to?

Hello there ‘old girl’. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ I’m sitting here in my sweater with my fingers almost ‘freezing’. That little experiment last night not only didn’t work, it seems to have backfired. Disappointing, I admit, since I had hopes of halving the cold around here.

The hanging around reference was only for CC. As far as I have deduced **she** is supposed to be working hard on a Monday. It’s one of her busy days. Or at least I used to think it was. It’s somewhat exasperating that almost every time I try to sneak in unobtrusively I somehow happen to trigger her VCdar. ๐Ÿ˜†

Ed Rendell was a waste of space as a governor, he’s a waste of space as a commenter on any tv show and he’s as phony as they come. His sole goal in life is to enrich the pocket and enlarge the already overblown ego of Ed Rendell.

Joy Reid, sitting in for Alex Wagner’s NOW on MSNBC. The panel is Ed Randell, Martin Bashir, Katrina Van Somebody, and Bob Can’t Think of His Name. Bob said, ‘remember when we talked about the lunatic fringe portion of the GOP, now the whole GOP is the lunatic fringe.’

Fox: New Evidence Hillary Killed Lincoln

“In what may be the most serious allegation ever made against the former Secretary of State, Fox News Channel reported today that Hillary Clinton was involved in the conspiracy to murder President Abraham Lincoln. ……”

Yes yes of course. It all makes perfect sense. She said she didn’t arrive at Ford’s Theater until after the intermission. But everyone knows the old codger at the door didn’t let anyone in after intermission.

The reality for Republicans is this is going to get quite embarrassing for them. If they want to haul a fellow Republican and Bush appointee in front of a committee to ask why he decided to take a hard look at the tea party (think about that) before deciding to grant them tax-exempt status then please proceed GOP.

No worries. Here is HF2’s 3-step quick relief from MSM program (at no cost):

      Step 1: Turn off MSNBC
Step 2: Keep MSNBC turned OFF for good.
      Step 3: Feel much better!

Congratulations! You’ve completed the program and can receive your certificate.

Got it but would it be ok to turn it back on for Martin Bashir. You see I kinda like him but I don’t want to do anything that will prevent me from obataining my certificate so what you advise me to do.

Great formula, HF2. I’ve been following it for years and it works like a charm. The added bonus of your advice is that the more people turn them off, the lower their ratings, ad revenues, etc. Why sustain them for even one minute?

Mourning Joke is part of F&Fs, Drudge, etc. Chuck Todd was the Head of Roll Call or some rightie publication in DC before Russert brought him on. Their game is the same……wanting to decimate the Dems and pres Obama in particular. The Only to diminish them is No to watch them in the AM.

The president said everything that needed to be said! There’s only so much stupid he can take, and he knew any follow up questions would be stupid…..probably just repeating exactly what had been asked. E.J…….get a grip.

To be honest the Republicans didn’t have to force the media to do anything, the anti-Obama media have been all to willing to push the Republicans lies and talking points. When the people on Capital Hill already had that info, this seem that Karl and the Republicans who leak it to him were working hand in hand to push their made up controversy. Jonathan Karl is just as sorry as Jake Tapper.

can someone explain to me why Richard Clarke is persona non grata on ANY of these shows, even the alleged liberal shows on msnbc or Current?!?!

Bush/Cheney practically dismantled Clinton’s anti- Al-Qaeda unit over Clarke’s strong objections. They turned all the focus to Iraq and laughed at any and all warnings before 9/11. THEN dismantled Valerie Plame’s counter-terrorism unit for political payback. God knows how far that set us back and how many American and America-supporting people lost their lives due to that. But Baby Bush got to have Cheney hold his hand in hearings that had no transcripts. And the allegedly ‘fair and tough’ Fitzgerald kept calling Rove back to change his story when he was caught in lie after lie.

How does that compare with the Obama administration taking a few days to assess what happened on the ground and – gee – maybe protect our sources on the ground? Instead we have the emo-progs at best and the RWNJ’s at the worst.

Isn’t it extremely suspicious that Clarke has not been called on to give some context to Benghazi?

    This is all effing insane.

    • 95 Nena20409
      May 13, 2013 at 2:11 pm

I hate to bring you bad news. Benghazi happened last year….the attacks. Richard Clarke had nothing to do with that. Clarke now works for ABCnews or is it CBSnews as an analyst. The media was never interested in writing anything bad about GW Bush until after Katrina in Aug 2005. It too Cindy Shehan going to Crawford camped out in Aug 2005 for the media to pay her attention for the death of her son in Iraq.

If the media cared for what GW Bush did in Iraq……Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, etc would not have been booked 13 to 1 the 1st Sunday after OBL was eliminated by this POTUS.

      • 96 57andfemale
        May 13, 2013 at 3:19 pm

Richard Clarke would be a good voice to push back on the hypocrisy of the hysteria over Benghazi. The MSM has been more than happy to parade out the pro-Bushies from that era, they can also put on someone who had first-hand knowledge of how Republicans completely ignored the negligence of the Bush Administration – the same jackasses screaming COVER-UP right now. If PBO and Hillary didn’t ‘do enough’ to protect the Americans at a diplomatic outpost in Libya, then the public should be reminded that the country had to fight tooth and nail to even get an investigation AT ALL on the intelligence and security failings of the Bush administration.

If Cheney and Condi can pontificate on Benghazi, then Richard Clarke can damn well remind people of the failures of Cheney and Condi. Condi, who got PROMOTED after blowing it on 9/11

Oh for the love of God, I cry all the time at this time of year–not just from allergies, but because of the erratic changes in temperature from day to day. If your eyes are dry and you enter a room, it can set off tearing. The people masquerading as journalists in the US have got to be among the dumbest on the planet. Have they no lives to lead, no jobs they can actually do. Are they reduced to filling air time, column inches with stuff so trivial it would make a junior HS newsletter seem silly.

I just called Issa’s office 202-885-3906 and asked for the definition of ” Acts of Terror ” and ” Terrorist Attacks ”

I got transferred and the woman told me to call the White House for that…..

I said NO…Mr Issa is on TV claiming there is a difference….what is it ?

Transferred again to ” Oversight and Government Reform Committee ” this time a man answered…..he also put me on hold. When he got back he wanted my name……

    What for, I asked….

Well… he says….I will have to get back to you on that.

Why, I asked, your boss is saying on TV there is a difference…therefore he must know what that is….what is it ?

    Back on hold….

NO, it is not the right # it is 202-225-3906….first time I was immediately sent to voice mail which was full after being asked where I was calling from……2nd time a Robert answered and I did not give him the opportunity to transfer me….Told him I saw Issa say it and wanted to know what the difference was….he ran around in circles and said it depended on the context and I said No, it did not….what he said was there was a difference and I wanted a definition of both if there is a difference….He never answered my question and said Have a Good Day…click
