    Good morning UT and everyone!

So the Yankees were in town last night and Chicago finally decided to win a game beating them 8-1. The bigger news was that A-Rod, suspended for this year (starting on Thursday) and next season, played. LOL here’s the NY Post headline:

    Good morning TODville.

Democrats have put together a beautiful site that addresses voting rights:

Up and at ’em all you O’s!!!! It’s a great getting up day in TODville again!!!

I’m trying to stay connected with all the goings on and I wish I had a profound political musing to offer you, but I got nothing. So, with that said, I think I’ll go outside and play.

    Be good youses!

Good morning everyone! Happy Tuesday….Countdown to President Obama in Phoenix:) Nice outside (by Phoenix standards) cloudy, a little breeze, chance of showers…clearing by the time he gets here. Anxious to see if the cryptkeeper (that would be Jan Brewer) knows how to behave herself and not embarrass herself or the entire state today when she meets the President at the airport. Someone should tell her not to say to herself that “it’s 5 o’clock somewhere!” so she doesn’t start taking her nips at the bottle before 5pm PHOENIX TIME. Rather like Boner in that regard….seriously, that woman makes my teeth hurt.

Anyway…I hope the Mayor is there, and some others with some cooth and manners….Welcome to Phoenix, Mr, President.

Well, Japa. Each day you get one more person to join with you in understanding how much the GOP sucks.
      And that’s how we win.

*********** Breaking********** GWB had successful heart surgery to unblock a heart artery. Hope he’s ok….now what’s wrong with EVERYONE having that same option because they have good health insurance?

I wish GWB a speedy and thorough recovery from his heart surgery but I find it ironic that both he and Cheney have had “heart” issues. Something to think about.

That is often not major surgery in recent times. I know a number of folks who have had arteries bypassed, blown up and/or unblocked. Some have major recovery periods, some quicker. The trick is to get a diagnosis before it causes major problems. Without insurance folks probably wouldn’t even have the tests.

Heart surgery seems to be the in thing for GOP retired politicians. One could make an interesting comment about this – but I should follow your lead and just wish GWB a speedy recovery.

This is an excellent observation. And considering how seldom reporters are angry about being lied to…

    • August 6, 2013 at 10:20 am

The “reporters” who get angry at being criticized are angry because they are being called out on their ineptness and the fact that they are not doing their job. Verifying sources and doing their own research would make it difficult for them to be lied to, much less reporting those lies.

But I have to remember that we are not always talking about real journalists.
