    Hi! ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. August 7, 2013 at 1:04 pm

I feel really silly coming in first when I just signed on. ๐Ÿ˜‰ What is Zillow? A new service we can trust to transfer info? Remember, my eyes are just now recovering with two very expensive eye drops. I’ve only been able to listen.

Good day & Congrats Carol … Hi VC ๐Ÿ™‚

Bottom line … #PBO has earned it!!

    Yes We Can

Thanks Bob. I think I’m giving ten to #OFA? Is that what you mean?

      • August 7, 2013 at 2:12 pm

        Hi Carol,

Great that you are making the donation! Any amount helps, for sure!!

Was just trying to indicate the power of @BarackObama’s twitter followers – which I’ve yet to see @OFA leverage. If only 20 % of his followers were to donate only $3 per month for the next 15 months, they would raise more than 314 Million Dollars.

We tried to get them to launch #ADollarADay to @OFA – many times. If only 20 % of his current twitter followers did that for the next 15 months – it would be close to 3 BILLION Dollars.

Just hope that at some point it will click with the @OFA senior management (Jon Carson follows me on twitter and I’ve gently nudged him more than once ๐Ÿ™‚ ).

Will stick with an occasional nudge and maybe it will have a productive impact before Nov 2014.

        #LandslideDEMS2014 – #PBO has Earned It!!

Listening to the Live interview of POTUS on housing. What an intelligent man!! He has a grasp of every single issue and makes sense all along the way. Very impressive.

    • August 7, 2013 at 1:23 pm

Did I say POTUS was impressive? Not a big enough word!! Wow. His grasp of the issues, clarity and down-to-earth common sense is just amazing.

dotster – Good afternoon! Believe me, I’m the last person to give out most computer advice, but – although I’m not quite sure what your keyboard issue is – there are “virtual keyboards” (for Windows, at least) that you can download off the Internet. If that’s the issue, I know my son had trouble with certain letters and symbols on his actual keyboard and downloaded the virtual keyboard to use off his monitor, until he got his actual keyboard replaced! Again, who knows if any of this is correct or what you need, so I’ll just sign this “Anonymous in Illinois”!

Hello, right back atcha, VC! I’m going to try lurking a bit (which is tough) from this point on (anonymously), while still enjoying myself! Gotta get a few things done, here in Illinois – Ha! Hope you are having a good week, too.

Yes, I am, though I’m in ‘to catch-up, or not to catch-up’ mode. I’ll decide by day’s end, I suspect, though I’m leaning heavily towards letting sleeping posts lie. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I missed POTUS taking the questions about housing. Maybe I can see him speaking to the troops.

Why are the WHPC complaining about POTUS being on Leno Show?

Annieb, haven’t you grasped yet that complaining is what the WHPC does best – certainly better than they do reporting?

Hey anniebella, it’s probably because his interview was better than all of theirs put together.
        Job well done, Jay

We knew they would go caca over this. I didn’t even bother clicking the stories. Check out the misleading headings over at MSNBC website:

Why did Putin defy US? Because he can [Gazelle: Oh really!!!]

Analysis: What does Russian leader Vladimir Putin get from giving temporary asylum to Edward Snowden? [Gazelle: Nada!]

Snubbed: Obama nixes meeting with Putin in Russia [Gazelle: Snubbed? Your vocab is severely lacking!]

Obama on Leno: We won’t be terrorized by threats

    [99ts, if you’re still around & not asleep, I say that’s a waste of red wine! LOL! ๐Ÿ™‚ ]:

The spurned mistress of Australian Liberal National Party MP Peter Dowling has written to parliament “detailing their sexual relations and pointing out where she believes the backbencher has misused his entitlements,” The Australian reports.

“The letter, tabled in parliament yesterday, follows the revelation Mr Dowling had sent text messages to the woman of pornographic images of himself, including one in which his penis is in a glass of red wine.”

The Brisbane Times has Dowling’s reaction: “I am not proud of the events plastered all over today’s paper. And I can’t and won’t defend any part of it.”

Sex and scandal – interesting what the US media picks up about Australia. The lady was on TV last night (face hidden) saying she regrets the tell all. A woman spurned does things in anger. Guess I am old fashioned but dragging yourself through the mud to bring shame on others seems rather pointless. How many men have told women they will leave their wives – but never do. They guy will continue on with his life – refusing to discuss his stupid, while the woman has a life in tatters.

If I was married to a politician – no way would he be away leading the life of a single man – while I was bringing up the children. Joe Biden had the right idea – and for those too far away to commute – they should be home every weekend – looking after their family and their constituents.

[This guy is an effer. Period.]:

Of the 12 women who have now made sexual harassment allegations against San Diego Mayor Bob Filner (D), eight are female veterans and most were victims of sexual assault while they were in the military, CNN reports.

The women say Filner “used his significant power and credentials to access military sexual assault survivors, who they say are less likely to complain.”

[Oh puhleeze! Go back to LaJollaShire & STFU!]:

“What we feared would happen, is happening… The administration has made things worse, not better. It is enough to make some people simply throw in the towel.”

    — Mitt Romney, quoted by WMUR, at a New Hampshire fundraiser.

Mitt Romney’s poor turnout in 2012 is the best thing that could have happened to this country, since he so clearly can’t discern between “worse” and “better”. Every economic indicator points to the country doing better than the past decade, and picking up steam. And the middle class is getting some attention, at last, versus those at the top whom Romney & Co are only concerned about. If Romney looks at the current conditions and declares things worse than when the country was losing one million jobs per month and sinking quickly into a depression, then he has no business commenting on the state of affairs, and he needs to slink back into that greedy hole he crawled out of.

Quoting Romney is a major form of stupid – other than being able to put words into sentences, his understanding of the world, the country, and everything – is the same as that of Sarah Palin. The guy has insulted everyone and anyone that he spoke to or about.

[Lawd, things are getting darn ugly in NC for Ms. Lindsay! Sorry not adding link to politico.]:

Nancy Mace on Tuesday tweeted: โ€œRT @PaulSteel4: @nancymace we support you here in Florida. Nancy Mace vs Nancy boy graham.โ€

โ€œNancy boyโ€ is an early 20th century term, often considered derogatory, for an effeminate or homosexual man.
