DD, now that you’re snow-bound, you have plenty of time to land on First. Well congratulations! Now go outside and make us a snow angel, take the pic and post it here. We want to see what an angel in 2 inches of snow looks like. πŸ˜†

If not that, then how about a pic of them babies…

I have distinctly pleasant memories of seeing Mr. R. Havens live: once at The Cellar Door, and again at Rock Creek amphitheater, when I was a younger gal! The experience never fades, does it? πŸ™‚

I think the Fars news agency hired David Icke as a consultant.

The U.S. government is being controlled by a secret regime of aliens called “Tall Whites,” who were also instrumental in the rise of Nazi Germany, Iran’s semi-official news agency Fars reported on Sunday.

Citing a report based on documents leaked by whistleblower Edward Snowden (and filed under the “Space” section of the website), Fars said the Russian Federal Security Services (FSB) has recently been “stunned” by these revelations, proving “an alien/extraterrestrial intelligence agenda is driving U.S. domestic and international policy, and has been doing so since at least 1945.”

“Of the many explosive revelations in this FSB report,” the article continues, “the one most concerning to Russian authorities are the Snowden’s [sic] documents ‘confirming’ that the ‘Tall Whites’… are the same extraterrestrial alien race behind the stunning rise of Nazi Germany during the 1930’s.” This alien assistance, the report adds, manifested itself in the Reich’s technically-superior submarines.

Warner is a favorite son in Virginia. He is revered by R’s and D’s. Gillespie picked the wrong Senator to run against. But hey, I don’t mind them wasted their money on this election.

Just popping in to vent…..had to attend a mandatory lecture today at work. The speaker was…..wait for it…….the Florida chair for Americns for Prosperity (turd blossom Rove’s group) AND former staffer to St. Reagan after his Presidency. UGH! All this little s.o.b. talked about was “the great communicator” and “the shining city on the hill”. He showed videos of speeches, talked about meeting the likes of Peggy
Noonan and David Koch! Name dropped all the successful “free market” billionaires he has met and how grand their offices and homes are. I gotta tell ya, it was pure torture. You don’t know how many times during the three hour session I wanted to literally scream out or run out of the room. But my, now confirmed after witnessing her enthusiasm in meeting a guy who touched the Saint, boss was sitting right in front of me. It was painfully brutal to have to sit there. I did fill out the evaluation form at the end and stated how offended I was this jerk was brought in to lecture us. Oh, and the supposed topic of this little talk was “emotional intelligence”. LOL! I still am recovering and felt as though I needed a shower and good brain cleaning after the morning lecture. The little prick is also CEO of a title company he gleefully calls “the Walmart of title companies”. Perfect!

LB4, what a terrible thing for any company to put employees through. And three hours is beyond endurable. You deserve all the comforts and treats you can manage after a day like that. I’m glad you voiced your feelings in the evaluation.

Tonight is round 2 of me trying to get my new internet up and running at home.

It was installed yesterday, and then 10 minutes after the tech left, my modem fried. I had a total First World Problems meltdown, upon which I look back ruefully now.

So I have a replacement modem, installation disc, and my inherent geekiness for this evening.

Wasn’t the good gov, the now indicted bad gov., being touted as a great presidential candidate at one time? I remember that. Repubs sure have troubs coming up with a decent presidential candidate. And now the very “sad” tumble that the next in line has taken—-Mr. Christie. Such a headache for the GOPers. What to do, what to do? And then—–a bright and shiny and fluffy candidate appears to take the reins!—–the Donald announces that he is available and is seriously considering another run —–because the last one was so sparkly and successful! Yipee! Run Donald Run!

Yep. He was forever being trotted out and paired up with Gov. O’Malley on all the Sunday talk shows because he was their great hope before Christie came on the scene and was crowned the Republican savior by our “liberal media”. Now the Repubs have no one since both of them will be tied up in legal battles for the foreseeable future. πŸ™‚

Rachel’s takin’ ’em down one at a time. I don’t like all her segments, and I actually stopped watching her for quite awhile (when she acts like a fangirl and “drones” on about Green-Snow crap), but I lurve when she sinks her teeth into a nasty gov or senator.

Exactly how I feel about her Sue, she’s painful when she’s Greenwald-worshiping etc, but absolutely brilliant on so much else, including the Christie story.

I love investigative reporting and hate what Koch money has done to media. I have hope because of your site and also because of what I’ve seen on some of MSNBC the last 2-3 weeks. My hope is that young people will see the value in local reporting and somehow see their way back into city hall and report what’s also going on in local courts.

          Not to mention: Dudette’s back!

Thanks for being you, Chips. You crack me up 100 times a day and provide a safe place for indepth reporting.

Joshua Black, a Republican who is running in Florida House District 68, told the Tampa Bay Times that Secret Service agents had come to his home following the uproar over his comments.

“I’m past impeachment. It’s time to arrest him and hang him high,” read a message on Black’s campaign Twitter page Monday.

I hope that the good Gov. Forced Vaginal Ultrasound McDonnell of VA will think of a presidential run in 2016. That is, if the Donald doesn’t run first. Either way, having Sarah Palin, wrongly referred to as “an idiot” by the old Olbermann, is a sure winner. Please proceed, GOP.

Hi all – I’m up late and soon out for the day – haven’t had time for much reading but I did see

{{{{{{{dudette}}}}}}} on rise and shine – so pleased you will soon be back with the songs – you were so missed

I also saw McConnell and wife indicted – wondering if this is good news for Christie – something else for people to chat about – or bad news for Christie – what might be in his future

    Enjoy your evening

I see the Secret Service paid a visit to this Fl. GOP goofball nutcase state senate candidate a visit for tweeting about PBO—-“I’m past impeachment. Arrest him and hang him high.” And when even Fl. Gov. Nutty Nut Scott was horrified, or pretended to be, asked him to drop his candidacy, he said he is staying in the race. (and what does the secret service do with these guys, just say “bad boy, don’t do that again!”?)
We are swimming in whackos in this country.

Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill deBlasio are at war.
This first became visible when DeBlasio didn’t choose Cuomo for either of his swearing in ceremonies. The first on Dec. 31 was at The Mayors Brooklyn residence and NY Attorney General Eric Scneiderman did the honors.
The official inauguration featured Hillary in the prime aisle seat and Bill Clinton doing the swearing in.
Cuomo sat near Bloomberg. Neither had roles in the left-wing lovefest.

Cuomo repaid the insult by not mentioning DeBlasios presence at his State of the State address. Cuomo gave shoutouts to everyone but deBlasio.
    Which brings us to today.
Cuomo went directly at deBlasio attempting to co-opt Bills pre-K plan.
The Mayor wants pre-k to be funded by a tax on people earning 500,000. The Governor says No New Taxes.

The Governor is supported by the media and rich folks on both sides of the poitical aisle.
Bill deBlasio has only us, the people.
Stay tuned, as Rachel would say.

Vicki, I’ve actually heard people mention Cuomo as a presidential candidate and I quickly express my horror that they could consider this very limited man presidential material. Cuomo has much to gain by forging an alliance with deBlasio. He (Cuomo) has no populist appeal and he would do well to burnish his own credentials by linking his name to the new mayor. If the governor can’t keep his petty piques from showing in the first month, then he’s pretty much dooming himself. I really believe that deBlasio will triumph and not Cuomo.
