What was the best moment of Kevin Hart’s life? Meeting President Obama and getting a nickname from the President.

A good friend of mine was at that Holiday party that Kevin Hart attended. He said that Kevin was a hoot! He wore a royal blue suit and my friends date took a picture with Kevin.

Utal, I don’t know how you find these goodies, but this is awe-some!!!!! THANKS! THANKS! THANKS! I โ™ฅ โ™ฅ โ™ฅ โ™ฅ *Kev’s* unbridled enthusiasm. Exactly the way to react to our president, IMHO. ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† You are setting a terrific example – THIS, THIS is the kind of stuff we ALL ought to find and bring here daily! I watched it several times and I was laughing every time. A real mood booster!

      Did I say, ‘Thanks!’? ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

Ha, ha, looks like we may need to make room on the naughty mat for Kev. I think he has a man crush.

Is it a toy record player or did Fisher Price not just make toys back then?

        January 30, 2014 at 1:24 pm

It’s a kids record player. You see back in the day the adults got to play their music on the HiFi System and we kids played our music on our own record player. I’d give anything to know what happened to all those Beatles 45’s. I could possible be a wealthy woman if I still had them.

Haha—-President Obama said he was going to start the SOTU speech with, “The State of the Union is cold.” Then decided that wouldn’t be “entirely appropriate”.
He’s so cute when he tells a little jokey. And all other times too.

Yes dotster – he is super cute when he makes those comments. He was in great form today! He had me laughing out loud several times.

Now someone please Tell Me why Oh Why Fox gets a Front roll Seat at the WH press Room? Tell me why Fox is not laughed out of the Journos DC/NY community?

      • 57 donna dem 4 obama
        January 30, 2014 at 1:13 pm

The WH tried to convince everyone in 2009 that Fox is not a legitimate news organization. It is a propaganda arm of the Republican Party but all their counterparts on cable and the national networks pushed back against the WH as trying to “control the media”. So the WH gave up the argument.

Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus vowed Thursday that he and other RNC officials will boycott MSNBC until the network’s president apologizes for “petty and demeaning attacks” against conservatives.

The controversy began Wednesday, when MSNBC tweeted about a new Cheerios ad similar to one that was met with racist backlash last year.

“Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but everyone else will go awww: the adorable new #Cheerios ad w/ biracial family,” the tweet read.

MSNBC later deleted the message and apologized

    The truth hurts…….boo hoo

To whom do I send my list of petty and demeaning attacks against our President by Fox “News”? I’d like an apology or I’ll boycott Fox. Oh, wait … maybe I’ll get them to buy me a pony in lieu of an apology, since I’m already boycotting Fox.

I am not a Gallup Poll fan. But Luke and his DC/NY pretenders are.

PRINCETON, NJ — Fifty-six percent of uninsured Americans who plan to get health insurance say they will do so through a government health insurance exchange. That figure has steadily increased since Gallup began tracking uninsured Americans’ intentions in October.

A longtime adviser to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) conducted a 2012 poll on behalf of a development firm at the center of one of the scandals that has recently rocked the governor’s administration, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.

Michael DuHaime conducted the poll to examine how a proposed development that would be built on land owned by the Rockefeller Group was viewed by supporters of Hoboken, N.J. Mayor Dawn Zimmer.
Earlier this month, Zimmer alleged members of Christie’s administration threatened to withhold hurricane relief money unless she approved the development, which would be located in the city’s north end.

House Republicans have used a variety of excuses โ€” citing Obamacare, sequestration, Syria, or the drug war โ€” to explain their reasons for not passing a comprehensive immigration bill. But a Republican congressman cited one reason for the stalemate the GOP wonโ€™t admit publicly. The Southern congressman told BuzzFeed it is a matter of race.

โ€œPart of it, I think โ€” and I hate to say this, because these are my people โ€” but I hate to say it, but itโ€™s racial,โ€ said the lawmaker, who remained anonymous. โ€œIf you go to town halls people say things like, โ€˜These people have different cultural customs than we do.โ€™ And thatโ€™s code for race.โ€

who knew! Did you guys know this? Really? Race….hum.

    Push Back works.

Now a 180. Jon Meacham needs to do his 180 on Camera and on Mourning Joke. They tout him as a Historian. Therefore his Hidden Mea Culpa is lukewarm and Not a tad satisfactory.
Jon Meacham left quite a few people confused on Thursday morning when he suggested that neither Franklin D. Roosevelt nor Abraham Lincoln ever said they were “going to rebuild America on an executive order.” It turns out that he was pretty baffled by what he said, too.

“I was at best imprecise and at worst just plain wrong today,” Meacham said in a statement provided to TPM. “I did not say what I meant to say: that great presidential leadership requires not only executive action but public persuasion and legislative action.”

It’s not going so well for him over on Facebook where he posted this apology. I’d say 70/30 not in his favor. I don’t watch Morning Joke because well…he’s a joke but folks are letting him know this is not his first time misspeaking.

Here are a few of the replies:

“not the first time you “accidentally misspoke’ about this president. and it always happens on Morning Joe. Why???”

“And where is the President saying that executive order is the only critical element in statecraft? There were, what, two lines about executive orders in a 75 minute speech?”

“So you blast the black President on national TV, then try to explain yourself on Facebook. What a waste of a life.”
