Katie Couric reminded me of some blogs I sometimes read. This is one of them

If you read the end of the latest post – there is an Obamacare story here – hopefully Bill will soon be recovered and telling the story. His photos are delightful.

Gotta throw in some of the funniest commercials (funniest to me anyway). 🙂

Doritos had 5 finalists and took votes to determine which to air during the game. This was one of the finalists that DIDN’T air during the game.

These two aired during the game. Both are BRILLIANT! 😀

… and this! Couldn’t even hear the last part of the commercial (first time we saw it), because we were all laughing so hard! 😀

Will be repeating the message in this tweet incessantly, so please forgive me for doing so …

The dimensions of impact of ever newborn infant hearing 33 Million or more words of love, encouragement and diversity of meanings before they pass their third birthday is enormous. The Kochs and other plutocrats, oligarchs, etc., would have no chance of prevailing in a democracy populated by voting age persons who’s first three and subsequent years were filled with words of encouragement, increasing complexity of meaning, and inspiration. Implementing such a goal costs very little money, because besides training young parents of the value of how and what they speak to their infants, the only real costs are LOVE & COMMITMENT to the well being of the child.

    Yes We Can

…. time for some rest ….

Hi FayPax – and calling out the Broncos as not being able to play the game – in between running the country and being to the forefront of the media Joe would be leading the football team to great victory!!!

Why hit on the losing team – they were out maneuvered and out played by a better team – Joe does EVERYTHING better than anyone else – pathetic is just the beginning

“Majority Leader Cantor and the rest of the Republican Party think that they can fool the American people into supporting the same lousy fake healthcare plan that voters have already rejected twice. While they are trying to sell this bogus alternative, Republicans are lying to their supporters with claims that Obamacare is living on borrowed time.”

In the past 2 months, I’ve been in about 6 countries and everywhere I go people want to talk about the President and the state of our political system. ( I think they think all Black people personally know one another. :)) The sentiment is the same everywhere I go…Americans should be pitching a bitch about the state of affairs in our country. The word used most frequently is “ignorant” of history, the Constitution and politics. Sadly, I can’t even defend my countrymen, because how the Republicans can continually shovel this sh*t to the public is beyond me.

To an outsider – the US has always seemed insulated from the rest of the world – I was there in 1978 (one & only time) and the ONLY countries in the news were USSR and the UK. Most folks thought I was English – because of the accent – and when I mentioned Australia one woman asked me was it “over the sea”.

I love the fact that “all black people personally know each other” – I was asked if I knew Olivia Newton-John – who was the only person from Oz most folks had heard about 🙂

The GOP with massive media help mislead the American people every single day. From the outside, it seems amazing – but propaganda works – if you own the media – you have a big chance of directing the policy. The problem the GOP ran into with PBO – he knows how to use social media – he can bypass the “old” media – despite their kicking and screaming.

Do hope you enjoyed the travel – seeing that others are not taken in by the US right wing must give hope for the future.
