Are we going to get to the “trials of Bieber” anytime soon? (Please, please, please, please ) 😆

LL! Huge work above, but I admit it’s a bit less than intriguing, as bieb for me is meh! Often Tweet of God is fantastically funny, and right on! Hoping you shake off this bug you’ve mentioned, and are feeling better soon!

Normally, Tweet of God is funny but this is just blah.

Bieber is not interesting. He just seems like a spoilt brat.

In the spirit of not being so serious all of the time: a cashier at Publix told me that today is National Pie Day. Is there really such a thing? Do we blame Obama if there is ? How many pies will the White House have to celebrate? How many pies has the Pie-Eater-in-Chief eaten? How much has this cost the taxpayer? There was no national Pie Day when Reagan was president so why should there be one now? The msm demands to know on the public’s behalf.

Why are they not going for 2nd degree murder!! They are truly trying to lose, twice.

      • 20 57andfemale
        March 14, 2014 at 4:22 pm

because they over-charge in order to lose and look ‘tough’ all at the same time. What a mockery of justice.

          March 14, 2014 at 5:23 pm

They are “over charging” because they want a 12 person jury. If they went for the lesser charge they could only have 6 jurors like they did for the Zimmerman trial. This is the way they do things in Florida. The jury can still go for the lesser charges. I’m going to keep positive for “Guilty” on one of the lesser charges. Dunn is still going to do a mandatory 60 years no matter the outcome of this second trial. I just want the parents of that dead boy to hear “GUILTY” for their peace of mind.

Thank you. I didn’t know that and I stand corrected.

Thank God Dunn is facing some justice with the sentence, but he should be convicted of murdering that kid just because he didn’t like his manners. We have to start sending a message. Unfortunately, these laws are written so that many killings are now considered justifiable homicides. This country has gone insane.

Turchynov Overrules Crimean Parliament’s Decision On Declaration Of Independence (21:07, Friday, March 14, 2014)

“Oleksandr Turchynov, the acting president, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, has overruled the decision of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on the Declaration of Independence of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, decree No. 296 of March 14 proclaimed.

The decision on adoption of the Declaration of Crimea’s Independence contravenes a range of documents, in particular the Constitution of Ukraine, the Constitution of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Law of Ukraine on the Status of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the decree noted.”

“The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, has confirmed the country’s course towards integration into the European Union and approved initial steps in this direction. A total of 252 MPs out of the 345 registered in the session hall voted for such a resolution on Thursday.

The parliament also authorized Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk to sign the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement on behalf of Ukraine as soon as possible.

“The course for European integration has been completely restored,” Turchynov said after the decision was made.”

    And then there’s this …

No human rights violations in Ukraine requiring military intervention of another country – UN Assistant Secretary-General

UN Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights Ivan Simonovic has said that there are no violations of human rights in Ukraine that would require military intervention by another country to protect them.

Human rights must be protected, but in Ukraine there is no large-scale human rights violation that would require military measures, he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.

Note the limited access to the Crimean Peninsula:

“”While veiled threats emanate from the city of Kherson, the capital of the province of the same name, tension is high on the Crimea border. There are only two main roads leading into Crimea from the rest of Ukraine, one crossing the narrow Isthmus of Perekop in the west and another eastern route on the Azov Sea, known as the Kharkiv-Simferopol highway. Both are now patrolled by Russian and Ukrainian military units.

Ukraine’s State Security Service on March 12 said it had detected and detained a Russian military reconnaissance team dispatched to Kakhovka, Kherson region to assess Ukrainian troop strength near Kakhovka, south of Kherson.

“The group was monitoring the activities of the 3rd rocket artillery division in Kakhovka, the 208th rocket artillery brigade and the 79th motorized brigade,” the State Security Service spokeswoman said, adding its agents had confirmed that one of the men detained is a citizen of the Russian Federation from Ryazan, Russia working for Russian military intelligence.”

    Interesting assessment:

“Yuri Bochkovsky, head of the all-Ukrainian Border Guards Veterans Association, told FoxNews.com that Kiev has dispatched armored personnel carriers and airborne troops from Mykolaiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions to checkpoints along the highway on the western route, at Chaplinka and Kalanchak a south of Kherson, as well as in eastern Kherson region at Chonhar, along the Kharkiv-Simferopol highway. “I think we have enough armor on the ground now to repel any Russian advance,” Bochkovsky told FoxNews.com.””

A lot of people will die in Putin’s War.

So if the other 40 had done it we would be in great shape for 2014 elections. Still, all things considered including MEDIA hate propaganda , Koch brother money and GOP obstruction it’s pretty damn good that we will get close to 6 million!!! These 10 states did more than their fair share!

The one to watch in Texas….

    Senator Leticia Van de Putte.

She’s hotter than road tar in August and she is damn set and determined tall to change the face of Texas politics. She has a favorite saying, “If Momma ain’t happy, nobody’s happy.”

She gained national attention the night of Senator Wendy Davis’ filibuster. Leticia (in Texas, it’s pronounced La-tea-see-uh with the accent on the tea) had just left her father’s funeral after a completely unexpected death. She came to the floor of the senate in an attempt to help prolong the filibuster after the Republicans tried to shut it down.

It was Leticia who set off the crowd.

Now let me make it real clear that I adore Wendy Davis and I work for her election every damn day. All I’m saying is that it’s time we stop under-funding and under-appreciating Leticia Van de Putte. It is likely that any statewide Democrat who wins in Texas does it on Leticia’s coattails.

Trip on over and get on her mailing list. It doesn’t cost anything and it’s gonna make you smarter. Lord know you need that.

Good God, how crazy does the current GOP have to be to lose Robert Duvall? Just read an interview of him at Daily Beast which I now cannot find. Hey, he’s still insane but not as insane as the current GOP.

Being married to an Argentinian makes the anti-immigrant stance repugnant to him. He’s pro-choice. Of course he said the loony, “It was the Democratic Party that were the segregationists” as if it’s the same Democratic Party today. He’s still RWNJ but a least a few steps toward sanity.

I remember not being able to look at him after his disgusting b.s. during the 2008 campaign (I make an exception for Lonesome Dove. Can’t help it, although it’s Tommy Lee Jones who should get the accolades – as uncompromising a performance as you’ll ever see).

Duvall said his wife will probably vote Democratic and he’ll vote Independent. But the GOP have gone even too batshit crazy for Robert Duvall. Wow. Just wow.

    • March 14, 2014 at 4:48 pm

I was so disappointed when I found out that Duvall was a right winger.

(And yet, he hasn’t been blacklisted by “liberal” Hollywood. So there’s another conspiracy down the tubes.)

      • 59 57andfemale
        March 14, 2014 at 4:52 pm

He’s still working, at 85. Has a new movie coming out and he’s working on a movie with Robert Downey Jr. I think. Seriously, he was as ugly and loony as anyone I’d ever seen in 2008. And yet they’ve managed to lose Robert Duvall.

That goes to tell you those that are left in the party – the sliver of deranged loons – decide so many elections because our side does not vote consistently enough and in good enough numbers. It’s so depressing.

        • March 14, 2014 at 4:54 pm

When midterm turnout was in the 60% range, Dems controlled Congress for 40 years. Now? It see-saws back and forth.

        • March 14, 2014 at 8:52 pm

I don’t have problems with actors that are Republicans. They have a right to vote however they want. What I do have a problem with if they lie about what their party represents. If they like being with the racist, hate for the poor, and working class at least admit it. I will watch Robert Duval, Bruce Willis, Kelsey Graham movies or television shows. I will not watch Arnold Schwarzenegger or Clint Eastwood movies because of their total disrespect and lies about PBO

          • 62 57andfemale
            March 16, 2014 at 3:27 pm

Robert Duvall was despicable during the 2008 campaign – his derision of PBO was off the charts and he did campaign events with McCain. His views of progressives and liberalism were outrageous.

I almost always enjoy the work of great actors regardless of their politics. I am not saying I will only watch the work of actors who share my political views. Hey, I’m a liberal! I have a big tent! But his dismissive hatred was beyond the pale.

And yet, the GOP is even more horrid than he could have imagined. What does that say?

      March 14, 2014 at 4:55 pm

Hello 57andfemale, when you said that Duval was “RWNJ but a[t] least a few steps toward sanity”, you really meant “a few steps away from insanity. I no longer consider GOP adherents sane. If they disavow the current Teabaggims, I might. Otherwise, they are all crazy.

    Okay. Not funny, but funny.

It seems that the congregation of the Miracle Faith Worldwide Outreach Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut, confronted their Bishop about some little sparkin’ he was doing on the side.

And his response? He showed them. He dropped dead. Apparently of natural causes.
