    Even when he’s not at eye level with the babies, PBO marshalls their attention anyway, just by being himself!

      The Joke played on both the MSM and the Rightie Media Mega Echo Chamber started with the 7.1M ACA sign ups.

      Well played POTUS, well Played. Come Nov 2014…….as Dems vote in close to the numbers of 2012, Victory will Be for those who Believed and Voted.

      Dudette, my 6 year old Mom was there in 1939; on Easter Sunday, 2009, I had the privilege of taking her to the 70th Anniversary Commemoration.

        What a fantastic memory for your mom to have. And what a day that would have been in 1939. Marion Anderson singing at the Lincoln Memorial is one of the reasons why I loved Eleanor Roosevelt. She was a fighter for justice and civil rights long before her husband was.

          Hi Jackie! Saw your msg earlier today. Dinner was ok; about 400 in attendance. Rob McCord and Allyson Schwartz attended and worked the room. Our county dems DIDN’T endorse Gov nor LT.

          While we had a nice turnout, it was a missed opportunity; our chair is out of touch. He bragged that DelCo is NOW BLUE — big f’ing deal, we went Blue in 2013 and DID NOT elect even one county-wide dem. Not mentioned: SCOTUS decision on campaign finance; Meehan’s vote yesterday FOR the Ryan budget; Meehan’s vote AGaINST paycheck fairness; the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act — all important stuff that he could have easily gleened from the last 10 days of the newspaper or google. Fact of the matter is, the 400 in the room are going to vote DEM — he needed to fire up the folks to get out and pound the pavement.

          Voter registration ends April 21st — not one word about conducting voter registration drive. I’m a firm believer in conducting drives year round, and turning up the pace BEFORE the election; if you can get newly registered folks to vote in the primary, they are more likely to vote in the general. We need new leadership in my county.

            Alycee, glad you got to see McCord and Schwartz. I wish I could like Schwartz, but every time I’ve seen her, she has acted aloof and cool with people. Of all the candidates running, she’s the one who never bothered to even set foot in our county. Our leadership is also suffering because there’s a changeover in June and everyone is arguing about who will replace the current chairman. I absolutely agree about continual voter registration drives. That’s why I wrote a ‘welcome new Dems’ brochure to be sent to every newly registered Dem voter. Also, we’ve noticed some crossover to the Dem Party by Republicans. I don’t know if they want to vote in our primary or if they’re disgusted with the Rs. Since we’re a red county, there’s no personal advantage to them from registering D.

    So, tonight’s menu:

    Broiled top sirloin, with garlic salt and seasoned pepper
    Asparagus, sauteed in sesame oil, garlic, and soy sauce

    Israel has imposed sanctions against the Palestinian Authority (PA) in retaliation for its signing up to join international treaties, officials say.

    They say taxes collected on behalf of the PA will be frozen, with limited access to bank deposits in Israel.

    Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat condemned the move as “Israeli hijacking” and “theft”.

    It is the latest in a series of steps by both sides which have strained US-led peace-making efforts.

    Theft is right.

      Can’t help themselves “despite the mistakes” – so RW congress fought tooth and nail – to the Supreme Court and beyond – yet the media comes up with “despite the mistakes”

      What is should say is – despite the congress, despite the SCOTUS, despite the hate, despite the plan in 2009, despite the GOP’s best effort to vote for death over healthcare – but the media liars could not go there – because – the GOP would call them “leftists”

    Now, full disclosure: I really love this photo and how the young man is interacting with PBO and VP BFD;

    but the imagery in the comment of this tweet is funny and captures the smallness of lying ryan when he is compared to or tries to compare himself to the giant minds of PBO & VP – ryan indeed comes off like a kid;

    so sorry young man that someone used your smart image to capture a sentiment => young man is certainly more sharp than ryan and is worthy of of my respect ;
