how is this supposed to solve the problem? I think it is the wrong approach. I disagree with women who use drugs during pregnancy but criminally charging them is useless and will cost more to tax payers vs. getting them help. This is just a bad idea.

I am SoCal and we could use some rain. It’s gonna be in the 90’s today. We got a little rain last Friday night or early Saturday morning. Not enough to get your car washed.

Congressman: Bundy Militia Has Set Up Road ‘Checkpoints’ In Nevada

The militia, as reported by Horsford’s constituents, “have set up checkpoints where residents are required to prove they live in the area before being allowed to pass,” the letter said.

They have also maintained a presence, sometimes armed, along highways and roads, as well as community sites like churches and schools, the letter asserted.

    This cannot be legal…..

I wanted to repost this ovah here since I was sooo last on the other thread 😉 :

I just saw on my Barnes & Noble email that Ben Carson has a book coming out on May 20th– “One Nation” about his “bold plan” to “stop America’s slide into fiscal and moral decay”. Good grief.
Hillary Clinton has a book coming out about her time as Sec of State and her “thoughts on the country’s path to the future” due out June 10th, titles “Hard Choices”

One or both with plans to run –

Ouch. Makes me doubly glad about my decision to cut off soda quite a while ago.

If consumers actually found out about the preparation techniques of everything they consumed outside their homes, no one would eat at fast food establishments, restaurants, etc.

      Thanks goodness we’re still alive.

I am very pleased with how the NBA has dealt with old racist nutjob Sterling, but we have bigger issues than Sterling…..Supreme Ct. decisions and GOP governors affecting voting rights and other rights affecting multitudes from sea to shining sea…..and the future of the country…..

Scared me too, Nena. Speak to the main BT (ps: I think she’s come unglued with that CNN guy – can’t figure WHAT she sees in him, but to each her own. Pray for her if you are a praying person.)

I do pray VC. BT must ❤ you a lot, I have always thought. Teasing is indeed BT's way of showing that ❤ .

This photograph might have been a slip up of some kind. Yes. That is what it is. A definitively slip up 😉

I sort of take issue with people complaining about where was the public outcry when Donald Sterling was doing all these awful things in 2006 and 2009? Social media has been growing expeditiously since the inception of Facebook (’07) and Twitter (’06). Although these sites were up and running they didn’t start to really catch fire until 2008/2009. Because of all the activity on social media news travels faster than the speed of light. Now when something happens millions of people know about it within minutes. I just feel that we are in a different time and place and when we depended exclusively on the MSM for news they selected what they wanted us to know about. Nowadays we dictate to them what we want to see and read.

Dear Prez Obama, Welcome home. We missed you. All hell broke lose in your absence, but miraculously the world’s partially right side up again just in the nick of time before your arrival. 😀

Welcome home Mr President. Awesome job on the world stage. You made us all so proud with your awareness, brilliance and elegance.
Phew! we no longer have to cringe and live in embarrassment when our CIC is overseas.
We love you and we have your back. So does most of the rest of the world, as you could see.

Thank you Chips and Nerdy Wonka for excellent wall to wall coverage…from exiting to re-entering the White house.
