Morning all. I am so paying for my partying at a friend’s wedding yesterday. Lots of dancing and Latino food and just a great time, but now I feel like that cartoon character you show, Chips–the one flat on his back, feet first. I have a sick headache, queasy stomach and feel like crawling under the covers for the rest of day. Hard to accept that maybe, possibly, the resilience of youth has passed me by. SIGH……

    G’morning Chips & TOD! Congrats 57 on #1 🙂

    What about Boners Op Ed?
Do they really think that’s a winner?

So Eugene just realized this? Isn’t that what we’ve been saying for all these years?

Hf, it’s better late than never. If others begin to echo this, if we keep specifically naming the Republicans as the culprits, it might just sink in with enough comatose people to make a difference in the midterms.

hopefruit2, It’s to bad the rest of the media won’t admit that the Tea-Republicans is at fault. They know it but they won’t admit it. I heard about Orangeman op-ed afew minutes ago..

I’m thinking they all should have been saying this since 2010 when it was more than obvious by then. Saying this in 2014 is tantamount to not saying much at all!

          July 6, 2014 at 9:35 am

You are so right hopefruit, I mean you knew this. How come Eugene Robinson didn’t know this? The motherfucker lives in right there in Washington.

          • 28 anniebella
            July 6, 2014 at 9:45 am

Eugene Robinson knew that, just like he knew that the ugly disrespect this President have gotten over the years is base on the color of his skin.

Fuck Eugene Robinson, that son of a bitch sat his ass up on morose joe every goddamn morning for the last five plus years co-signing joe’s bullshit. I could give less that two fucks about what the fuck this ass kisser has to say now. Every goddamn time joe told his ass to jump, Eugene said how high.

Every goddamn time a black man gets a t.v. show he quickly forgets what it is to be black, he forgets the struggle. Jessie Jackson for all his bullshit has never forgotten the struggle. But Eugene, Perry Bacon, these two motherfuckers you would think would have more to say about the black experience instead they say the most ridiculous shit just to keep a goddamn job.

        July 6, 2014 at 10:00 am

Yes. Robinson’s Morning Joke persona disgusts me – to put it mildly. He simply sits there and giggles foolishly, allowing Joe to get away with the most outrageous diatribes against our President. It’s embarrassing and painful to watch.

    • July 6, 2014 at 9:39 am

Better late than never, but this takes delayed reaction to a whole new level. I have always found Eugene Robinson to be wishy washy with his political commentary, rarely going out on a limb. In this case, of course, he is merely stating the obvious. I wonder where he was when congressional historians Norm Ornstein and Thomas Mann called out the Republican Party for their unprecedented obstruction. Back in April 2012, It was a bit of truth that the media could not handle. Ornstein and Mann immediately became personae non gratae. I can count on one hand the number of times I saw them invited on cable and network shows to discuss their scathing analysis.

Let’s just say it: The Republicans are the problem.

Morning TOD. As the famous PBO once said……”…cling to their guns and their religion.” Need we say more?

When Christ was here on earth over 2000K yrs ago, Swords and poison were most effective ways of killing people. Jesus Never once carried, advocated nor preached Violence. Jesus also Never carried any Religious text.

If one needs a deadly weapon to preach Christianity and or Freedom, one has lost one’s argument, one’ mind and one’s to right to be taken seriously.

John Boehner and Mitch McConnell have lead these Republicans to do nothing, then they blame the President cause nothing is being done. Well Boehner is being lead boss around by the Tea Party. The media talks that both side does it. Who have broke the mold by using a record number of filibusters, the Democrats or Republicans. Who have come right out and said compromise is a dirty word, meaning they won’t work with this President. When it was clear that G.W. Bush Prescription Drug Program was going to pass, the Democrats work with the Republicans to make sure people got the right information. When the Republicans saw that Obamacare was the law, what did the Republicans do? Still fight against it, spread lies about it, and Republican Governors refuse to allow people to get free health coverage through Obamacare. So I don’t want to hear this B.S. from the sorry ass media that both side does it.

anniebella, that is the one common theme. When dems are in or out of power they are still willing to work with the Republicans.

All the people how are now shocked that the Republican Party don’t like President Obama must have either been asleep or willfully ignorant of this fact since 2008. If I were one of those people I’d say I was asleep, because to say otherwise would be to suggest that since 2008 the Republican Party hasn’t questioned President Obama, from his birthplace to his parents to his college transcripts all the way to his very existence. The Republican Party has done more to try to destroy this man than it has done to uplift this county. It is too goddamn late in the day for any journalist to now come to the conclusion that the Republican Party isn’t the problem. You can keep your fake ass epiphanies.

    • July 6, 2014 at 10:10 am

Amen. And anyone who calls him/herself republican is suspect in my book. No way you can separate yourself from them and be credible. Guilt by association.

This is what magazines are telling women is the key to getting a job. Not a degree, not experience, not honing interview skills, but waxing your legs.

There is stupidity and then there is this:

Had a convo with daughter unit just now on how her day went. She had been on a 48-hour duty in gastro dept. A male senior doctor, a known slacker, wanted her to stay and help him with the case load that she had just finished. She told him to fuck off and walked away. So proud of her.

On this week tv show, dinesh d Souza was on talking about his crappy new film against the President and Hillary Clinton. The movie was about Saul Alinski and how Clinton and Barack are socialism defined. Wtf?
Why give this guy a platform? This guy is extreme in his vile views, yet gets interviewed on ABC?
    I just don’t get it.
