    a lol post from bj

Just yesterday I saw at least 6 latino children at the local playground. They were far away and I can’t read lips but I’m pretty sure they were speaking Spanish. Anyways, I naturally told my kids to stay in the car and decided to watch the others for any signs of suspicious behavior . Of course, there was plenty of it. All of a sudden 5 of them started running away from 1, who proceeded to run around trying to touch the 5 kids who were running away. Of course, this proves that Fox News was right; these children are just teeming with diseases. Out of 6, 1 of them was so contagious that even the others didn’t want to be touched by him!!! Even more shocking was that The infected one actually WANTED to infect his peers!!! What kind of culture are we unleashing among us?

What came later was cause for even more concern : When the infectious one did end up touching one of the others, both he and the the other children proceeded to act as if he was now no longer a carrier. Everyone stopped running away from him, and joined and focused solely on avoiding the now newly infected one, who switched from running away from the first infected kid to chasing after the others (including the one who already was infected … huh?).

Suddenly it all made sense. They are so poorly educated that they don’t understand disease transmission and think that when one spreads his disease to another, he himself becomes cured. So, when they become sick they not only actively seek out to give their sickness to another but proceed to take no preventative measures after this has been accomplished.

Can you imagine the kind of havoc that would spread in our communities?

Exactly—–or however you say it. This is so true. We just get the bottom of the barrel people news——giving such a false impression to people in this country—-and around the world.

Ay yi yi. I see Hobby Lobby has much more than employee contraceptive prevention in mind. They are planning to build a giant Bible museum near the National Mall in D.C. I don’t like this—–too creepy, too Talibany. Need to remain ever on guard if we want this country to remain as intended.

The key word, of course, is rationale.

For example, someone will tell me they vote GOP because they are pro-life. Yet, rationally, the GOP policies increase abortions, not decrease them.
Or they say because they are fiscally conservative. Rationaling speaking, the more fiscally responsible party if the Dems.
      Etc, etc, etc.

🙂 It’s so weird to see him ‘driving’, it’s a wonder he can even remember how!

      • July 16, 2014 at 5:59 pm

When you mention “it’s a wonder he even remembers how to drive” I know what you mean. I lived in Juneau, AK for ten years before moving back to the Lower 48. There really are few side streets or cross traffic in Juneau and only forty miles of road, mainly going one direction. Due to the lack of combative driving practice driving again when I moved back to Oregon terrified me. I felt like I did in fifth grade when I learned to get the rhythm before running in to jump rope in recess long jump roping. It took awhile to catch onto the rhythm of entering traffic after ten years of no practice.

When PBO’s so-called supporters display that kind of attitude time and time again – we shouldn’t be wondering why the GOP wins….

Sorry, I clicked on the wrong button.

I am so glad that FLOTUS is here in Los Angeles, shining a light on one of the most shameful aspects of American life: the plight of homeless veterans.

Coastal California is a magnet for homeless people for many reasons. We have paradisical weather, and many areas have astronomical housing prices (looking at you, SF Bay area, where the median price of a home is nearing $1 miilion).

I think that the same people who are up in arms against “illegal” immigrants (aka refugees) are the same who cast a blind eye to the homeless on the street.

Heard an interview with a citizen on the radio just now who said “the homeless problem in Los Angeles is astronomical.”

The people who say “we can’t afford” to “waste” our taxpayer dollars on humanitarian crises within our borders, don’t take the time to figure out that the amount of “waste” can be measured in pennies a day when divided by the number of people who pay taxes in this country.

Inexcusable shamelessness for us as a country.

Here’s what Mayor Garcetti said yesterday:

Here’s a report on Michelle Obama’s speeches here today:

    • July 16, 2014 at 1:19 pm

And, most of the remaining 38% are descendents of immigrants as is the case in almost every city and town in America except for those located on Reservations.

    • July 16, 2014 at 1:19 pm

Forgot to say that the radio reports that 300,000 veterans call the Los Angeles area home, and 18% (or about 60,000) are either un- or under-employed.

Heard this today as I was Listening to The Stephanie Miller show today……Suicide is horrific. My heart goes to his family. His Love to end bigotry has got to count Up there, some how. May he rest in peace.

A retired Methodist pastor who went on a hunger strike in the 1990s to protest the church’s discrimination against gays has committed suicide by self-immolation.

The Rev. Charles Moore, 79, doused himself in gasoline and lit himself on fire in the parking lot of a strip mall in Grand Saline, his hometown in East Texas, last month.

“I would much prefer to go on living and enjoy my beloved wife and grandchildren and others, but I have come to believe that only my self-immolation will get the attention of anybody and perhaps inspire some to higher service,” Moore wrote in one of the notes he left behind, according to The Dallas Morning News.

Moore was a lifelong champion of social justice and civil rights. In a note left on his car, he lamented the legacy of racial injustice in Grand Saline, where he was ostracized by the Methodist church in the 1950s for supporting school desegregation. According to the United Methodist News Service, Moore wrote that he was giving his body to be burned for lynching victims.

So Hobby Snoopy Lobby is going to reward (my opinion) the 5 men in Black Robe…….by now planning to erect a Giant Bible Museum in DC? Wow…….Separation of Church and State? Not enough Churches, Temples, etc in DC? Now a Bible Museum? Wow…..the regression of this nation continues to destroy this nation from within.

They are also financing teaching the Bible in classrooms. Some school district in OK is already implementing it, I believe. Their dream is to infect our entire secular society with their particular brand of Christianity, to the exclusion of all other beliefs.

I remember Gingrich’s House of Representatives and other GOP grumbling about the cost to find his plane.

The young, dead son of an assassinated President. Well, a Democratic President, so he was ‘less’ worthy.

Gingrich was the beginning of the destruction of Congress and its ability to fulfill its duties as a third branch of government, working with the other branches. He destroyed any comraderie and set up the Dems as his enemies.

But he was more than happy to leave his pontificating during impeachment to either spend time with his mistress, or work with Bill Clinton and other GOP to gut financial regulations that had been in place since the New Deal.
