      WTH does that mean?

The fact that a press conference is being held during the afternoon Pacific time?

Are panties in a twist because it is scheduled “after working hours?” What journalist considers their job a 9-5 affair?

And how clueless does she have to be to tweet her vapidity?

She must have a dinner date, Arapaho. Can’t let anything get in the way of her social engagements.

Perino is pissed because the GOP/MSM’s plan to black out this summit is not working. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Seems you were partly right about the 9-5 guess, Arapaho.

‘A press conf at 5 p.m. is neither betwixt or between. It doesn’t give networks time to turn around packages & it screws up reporters’ days.’ ~D. Perino

WTH is she talking about? There’s always a closing press conference at the end of this type of event.
      Ugh! Stunning freaking ignorance!

So, just riffing on Jim Acosta’s little comment about PBO’s “rare” presser:

Now that Russia has imposed sanctions against the import of US agricultural goods, should we in California be mean and thumb our oranges, lemons, limes and avocados toward Moscow?

I guess Muscovites will still be able to obtain from Venezuela and other places, but many of our delicious exports are in season during the long cold Russian winter.

Arapaho, the article Bob linked to on the previous thread made it clear that by cutting off these imports the Russian economy would suffer inflation and be in further danger. Putin is lashing out right now, thinking he’s spiting those who imposed sanctions, but he’s actually spiting the Russian people.

    • August 6, 2014 at 5:42 pm

One thing is clear, Arapaho, and that’s that Vlad is pure poison to the Russian economy and Russians’ quality of life. His stunt in Crimea, alone, is costing Russia hugely and those costs are accelerating as Crimea’s economy fails.

Hi my Chips and TOD family. I am here waiting and gently eating my daily spoon of Manuka Honey. Tummy just acting up all over the place. Not to worry, I Got This.

Dana Perino should take a little walk and not worry about the timing of when PBO holds his Press Conference. Hardest working president in my lifetime. Maybe Ms. Dana forget that we now have someone in the Oval Office who really does work for all Americans. If he does one, they complain; and if he does not, they still complain. How ungrateful.

We will make it through this journey as along as we stay focused on the important issues and Stay with our great POTUS. #Together TODers.

Thank you hopefruit2. We will make all of our efforts to work together with a positive stand with PBO. So many people need our hard work to keep his back and keep our space clear and open to deeds of goodness. PBO give me hope daily to keep working with him to make a difference on those things that are fair, decent, and hopeful for all Americans. #TrustBarack.

TY, beautiful MightyPamela. I had an appointment with my cardiologist yesterday. I received a very positive report with him. However, I have to do my echocardiogram tomorrow. Hopefully, all things will be fine there as well. Keeping strong and holding lots of good energy within my space. I will get through this.

We have a lot of noise to close out and certainly a lot of thoughts of goodness to get the job done in Nov., for POB. That is a great focus for me with all of his supporters here. So grateful that Chips has made it possible to have this space to stay together an get great things done with him.

Looks like the Presser will be at the 6:00 hour. Great. Tooooooooo bad, Dana and Jim.

If this is a strategy to defeat the MSM efforts to deny the President the ability to address the country at a time when many Americans will be able to tune in, as I said above Hahahahaha. Well played, Sir.

“Every day on social media, someone calls me an ally of Hamas. I find the accusation odd since I’ve not only repeatedly denounced the organization, but chided other progressives for not doing so more forcefully.

But upon reflection, maybe the critics have a point. Sad as it is to admit, Hamas does have unwitting allies among our people. There are Jews who through words and deeds strengthen a group that oppresses Palestinians and tries to kill Israelis.

Worse, such people work at the highest echelons of the Israeli government and the American Jewish establishment. Who are they? They’re the Israeli and American Jewish leaders who convince Palestinians that nonviolence and mutual recognition are futile. They bolster Hamas’ greatest asset, which is not rockets and tunnels. Hamas’ greatest asset is the Palestinian belief that Israel only understands the language of force.

The first way these Jews help Hamas is by supporting – either actively or passively – the imprisonment of people like Abdallah Abu Rahma. Rahma is a leader of the Bilin Popular Committee, which, since 2005, has led unarmed protests against the separation barrier that cuts the West Bank village off from 50 percent of its land.”

Good afternoon TODville, Chips, NW, and all bts. Before I go back to read all the days happening I have to catch you up on all that is going on in Montana. First the exciting news that last night in Missoula, MT, a town of 70,000 Paul McCartney played to a crowd of over 25,000 in our Football Stadium. We couldn’t afford to go but we live 2 miles from the Stadium, sat out on our porch drinking gin & tonics and listen to the show. It was loud. All those who went had a great time. Love it when the big names come to the smaller venues.

The next news is about our Democratic Senate candidate John Walsh. All the rumors are he will be quitting the campaign, with the ongoing scandal of his papers at War College. Now they are talking about who might replace him. Two names come up that I am very excited about and I would work for either on. The first is Nancy Keenan, she was our Superintendent of Education and then went on the be the head of NARAL. She is very well known and loved in this state. The other name is Denise Juneau, the current Superintendent of Education. Denise is also part Indian.

Hopefully this will be decided shortly because Steve Daines has lots of money and the backing of the Koch brothers, I do hope this is settled quickly because I hate Daines with a passion, but I haven’t been able to support Walsh, something about him just didn’t set with me. This is going to be a very tough race. We’ll see what happens. We have some many tea partiers here.

Chris Mathews trying to explain to us that what we heard the President say wasn’t really what he said….he is reinterpreting what the President said…Mercy

Reminds me of the old days when my dad would watch Huntley and Brinkley. He would sit and curse at the TV because they were interpreting the news.
