Safe Travels, Mr. President. May your trip be blessed with all that’s positive and may you bring to the world the same joy you give to all of us. Queen Elizabeth is so smart to have PBO over for her birthday. Who wouldn’t want that option?

      Awww.

Now we gotta rally around HRC.

(Once PBO is out on the campaign trail, we Obots will be deliriously fired up, so no problem with us.)

Look forward to @ShesWithUs2016’s November tweet of Mom after she votes!

Good evening, meta. I heard earlier in the day that Sanders was going to be in VT, overnight, but maybe he’ll take a moment to think things through after the NY results are fully known. Personally, I can’t see anything more he can do — if he’s truly in it now just to push his platform, he’s done about all he can do with that, too. But who knows how he feels! He sure looks less happy these days, than when he started running.

The revolution may have aborted, sending the young revolutionaries into a collective panic attack, particularly after they discovered they were ineligible to vote.

come on hillz, don’t go below 60%. with 60%, she gets 60-40 delegate split per teann. even a 0.1% below that, she gets only 50-50 split.

no more effing open primaries from the dems side.

    GE TODville.

I laughed when I saw this, but do recall an article from around the beginning of the year if IIRC (might have been @latimes) that said that blue states will decide GOP election.

This was an article that I intended to read, but ran out of time 😦 , but it might be because most populous states are blue?

A+ on the victory speech. Hit all the right points; delivered well.
    Keep racking up those delegates.

    • April 19, 2016 at 10:43 pm

Agree. Heard most of it. Proud of her.

    • 105 jacquelineoboomer
      April 19, 2016 at 10:50 pm

Truth be told, that was the first speech of hers after a primary win that actually sounded like a victory speech, to me. The rest seemed more stump-speech like. I think it’s hitting her that she’s much closer.

Very, very glad she mentioned President Obama, again.

And the fact Bill never gets to speak at these events … priceless. (Had to throw that in, from a personal POV!)

        April 19, 2016 at 11:15 pm

Sorry – I didn’t open the comment fully and thought you meant the Frank Luntz look! (Couldn’t figure out why he’d be on MSNBC, but responded anyway!) Chris doesn’t bother me as much as what I wrote thinking it was about Frank … but in Chris’ case, he’s probably keeping the night air from the top of his head or something. Or, yes, trying to look New York-ish like Trump.

        • 113 99ts
          April 19, 2016 at 11:38 pm

I watched Chris rave about PBO on election night in 2008. Took him about a month to start attacking him – and he hasn’t stopped. I find nothing useful about him at all. I don’t know anything about Frank Luntz other than he runs some ridiculous focus groups to prove the GOP always wins. I think I’ll stay well away from him
