Morning Chips, VC and early birds. Its a good day when we don’t have to see Ted Cruz’s face anymore. Not so good that Trump will be endlessly promoted by the media. Looks like we’ll also have to endure Sanders until June 7. Those still fantasizing about a Bernie path to the nomination are deep in delusion land. After California, we will start to see PBO in campaign mode. Can’t wait.

yes..it does for me as well….

places the President’s campaign and Presidency in historical perspective….this is why the Sanders campaign is so bogus…to deny how important the Obama Coalition was and is….

and as the Press covered Bernie’s racism….they now will continue to cover Trump’s racism…in fact the press’ meme will be how shocked everyone is at the candidacy of Trump….but let us not forget how they have propped him up and mainstreamed his hatred bigotry and racism…how they have tried to create a difference between the so-called “GOP ESTABLISHMENT” and Trump when they are seamless….SEAMLESS!

We are the change we seek….we must forever remind folks of HOW the GOP governs….voter suppression….climate deniers….union busters…anti immigrant….denial of equal pay for women…anti abortion…anti LGBT….and the list goes on and on….

          Trump IS the GOP….and don’t forget it…

FUCK NO! He does not have to drink the water, this piece of shit motherfucker wants the President to play his game. If this fucker cared one bit about the people of Flint he would have done something about it a long time ago. As far as I’m concerned President Obama does not have to go to Flint in the first place. The people of Flint knew goddamn well what they were getting when they voted for this fucking guy. I got a new motto: if you vote knowing that the person that you voted for is going to fuck you over and you still vote for that motherfucker well then you get what you asked for. I’m sick and tired of people voting for people that will fuck them in the ass and then complain about getting ass-fucked. If I’ve offended anybody with my language I REALLY DON’T GIVE A FUCK. I’m so sick and tired of voters not using the brains that god gave them, voters are so fucking gullible. Why must President Obama or any other elected official beg you not to vote for someone that will fuck you over every chance they get? This shit is ridiculous and sad, the rest of us have to suffer all because you’re too fucking stupid to see that the person that you vote for is trying to fuck you over.

he should take a sip in front of all the stupid emmessem cameras and then ask, ‘rick, have you drank this water ever? and yet, how as a governor, you are hurting your own people with this garbage?’

          May 4, 2016 at 10:37 am

A part of my point is that why does he even have to take a sip of Flint water? President Obama taking a sip won’t change anyone’s mind about him one way or the other, if you like him before the sip you’re going to like him after the sip and vice versa.

Don, I hear you. The people of Flint didn’t vote, especially in the mid term, yet, they now want ‘super’ PBO to fly in and save them.

We have a chance to finally, FINALLY do right by ALL the people that call America home. This is our chance. We have to vote and change this country for the better! Anybody who hasn’t watched the National Teacher of the Year video yet should go back and do so. That Teacher of the Year is tickled pink, and I can so understand why! Her *story* is fantabulous AND she got to be acknowledged *during* POTUS’ tenure in the White House – what a joy! Also, too, (to quote Amk) look at the reactions of the teachers behind POTUS (this is the first time I really focused on them) – it was simply fun to see them be involved in the ceremony, even the ones who seem to be of a more serious bent. President Obama’s Admin has been great at showing a true understanding of the importance and value of teachers – God bless them every one!

Trump Spells Doom for Social Conservatives
    APRIL 29, 2016 3:20 PM EST
    By Francis Wilkinson
The 2016 Republican presidential campaign began last year with Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal and Rick Santorum — among others — flashing Bible passages and competing for support from social conservatives in Iowa. It will end in July with the all but certain nomination of Donald Trump.

The rout of social conservatives in this campaign is absolute. Their future looks grim.

The problem isn’t that Trump has a disco ball where his moral compass should be. It’s that he isn’t particularly interested in the social conservative agenda — or even in pretending that he is.

Aside from a few comic forays into biblical scholarship early in his campaign, and later comments about abortion that were so off message that they merely confirmed his lack of interest in the topic, Trump is running free and clear of the entire movement. He’s leaving social conservatives in the dust.

      GM DF.

      This is too delicious.

How ANYONE can be opposed to an ADORABLE man (as [IIRC] @igorbobic said after Merrick Garland was introduced by PBO’s nomination) and who friggin’ prosecuted the worst case of domestic terrorism in the US which slaughtered babies and children in one of the reddest of red states?

McConnell boxed himself into a corner when he declared the Senate would not #dotheirjob only moments after Scalia’s death was confirmed.

For such a so-called “savvy” pol, you’d think he would have learned that PBO doesn’t rub his hands in glee and salivate for an opportunity to “stick it” to GOP odious pols. PBO says what he means, and means what he says; his #1 priority in office is what is best for Americans — not political ideology, and there is no national GOP candidate who can truthfully make the same claim.

Booman made this comment in his most recent post

“If the Republican Party gets branded as a National Front party, …”
    http://www.boomantribune.com/

This is what scares me about Trump – the Nazi party in Germany rose to power through the ballot box. It is not a foregone conclusion that Trump loses in November – although a sane person surely believes the US would not elect such a person.

The world is wondering what is happening.
