As noted several weeks ago, it seemed obvious to me that President Obama’s infusion of special ops folk into Iraq/Syria was particularly focused on enabling, strengthening the Peshmerga. Unfortunately, this is a sad way to confirm it …

Yes, and if you and I can, so can the CIA. I read somewhere that the President approves what the candidates see and don’t see, and that HRC, having been SOS, would have an advantage reading them, if they contained liitle info in order to prevent DT seeing something sensitive. Haven’t researched to confirm that yet, but if true, I would trust PBO to edit what DT could see.

At this point, I don’t fucking care WHAT he does with himself as long he isn’t in a position to matter/harm me and my family! I am utterly done with the crony asscratching that goes on around here with these Republicans. I’m ready to blow a gasket. They are all bought and paid for trickledown morons. They care nothing for people and everything for corporations…they take and they take the tax money from the people of this state to give tax breaks to corporations, do not abide by the voter’s wishes, decide to ignore the will of the voter’s when the will of the voter’s doesn’t mesh with their RW corporate ways….they fail the children. They fail the elderly. They fail everyone that doesn’t own a corporation and isn’t a rich, white guy.
For the first time EVER, I will vote AGAINST a prop that they say will fund schools. I just can’t do it…It is smoke and mirrors and I just can’t do it…I am so angry at what I see happening here…..

But of course the coworker isn’t here today and now I have to wait 24 hours just to voice my displeasure. And now I’m in a foul food which will cause me to find something to eat that is unhealthy just so I can get in a better mood.

This is what Arizona does! Koch Bro/ALEC bought and paid for legislators and gov….under the noses of people not paying attention…

    http://talkingpointsmemo.com/muckraker/arizona-state-supreme-court

Want to pack your state’s Supreme Court? Well, Arizona has provided a model.

Arizona Republicans are about to get two more justices on the state Supreme Court thanks to a bill approved by the legislature and heading to Gov. Doug Ducey’s desk that will expand the court from five to seven members and allow the Republican Ducey to appoint the new justices.

The move is being called a naked power grab and an obvious example of court packing — an accusation seemingly backed by the fact that the five current justices have said there’s no need for additional justices. However, in a twist, the state Supreme Court ultimately backed the proposal when the legislature leveraged much-needed funding for the judicial branch to get the court’s support. Ironically, some of that promised funding has already been scaled back, while the new judges will cost the state about $1 million annually.

But they can’t fund education or kids healthcare! No $$$ for THAT! This place fucking sucks. I just can’t stand the stupid.

They need to vote! They need to connect the dots that the Republicans have been holding them down and restricting them for decades! They all need to vote EVERY TIME, EVERY ELECTION! Not just on a national level, but on a local and state level! I hope EVERYONE is pissed and ready to fight hard! Ann Kirkpatrick is a Blue Dog Dem, but I would take her any day over any Republican! She needs to win this and I really think she can this time……I truly believe that AZ would be blue if every one that could vote, did. They better get fired up and ready to go!

IMHO blue dogs are unfairly treated by Dems who aren’t one of their constituents (or potential constituents).

Awhile ago @MiltShook posted a Tweet string which illustrated why Blue Dogs are better than GOP — they might not support every Dem proposal, but they support most of them. And Nancy Pelosi understands that a Blue Dog’s dissent is based on his/her constituent concerns — she is a master of rounding up enough votes to pass Dem measures while allowing Blue Dogs to vocally declare their dissent (which ups their re-election prospects).

My personal heroine, Gabby Giffords, was a Blue Dog Dem — still hoping for a BioPic of her amazing life (which would provide acting opportunities for Latino and Native American actors/actresses) with Rachel McAdams or Amy Adams in the lead role.

Man….every ad I’d put out for Senate would begin with a picture of Trump morphing into whatever GOP Senate candidate there is.

I would NEVER allow the two of them to be divorced from one another.

McCain on tape: Trump damages my reelection hopes

‘If Donald Trump is at the top of the ticket,’ the senator says in a recording obtained by POLITICO, ‘this may be the race of my life.’
    05/05/16 05:17 AM EDT

Publicly, John McCain insists Donald Trump will have a negligible effect on his campaign for reelection. But behind closed doors at a fundraiser in Arizona last month, the Republican senator and two-time presidential hopeful offered a far more dire assessment to his supporters.

For all the nastiness of 2008, both PBO & HRC were Dems, fighting FOR the strength of the Democratic party. This guy is destructive. I keep vacillating on whether to ignore or keep fighting him, because frankly, HRC has decided that pivoting to the GE is better than fighting BS’ horrific definitions of her. “If elected, Trump would consult with the conservative Heritage Foundation on Supreme Court nominations. We could well lose what remains of a century of progress for women, workers, LGBT people, and people of color, including the right to vote itself.

Trump understands very well that racism and sexism are crucial components of the nationalistic insurgence he wants to lead; he appeals openly to some of the darkest impulses in our political id. It is more than disturbing that Bernie pays so little attention to these dangers. He’s changed the debate within the Democratic Party by showing that millions of voters want more than incremental, technocratic tinkering with growing inequality. For that, I’m grateful. But when it comes to dealing with the Republicans in November, I don’t think Bernie gets the awful reality we’re facing. Hillary does.”

Heads up everyone! This frozen food recall affects all 50 states and some provinces in Canada.

    More:

Check your freezer. There’s been a massive recall of frozen vegetables due to a listeria outbreak. Expanded from 15 products to more than 350.

The food was sold across the country in many popular national chains including Walmart, Costco and Trader Joe’s, as well as local/regional stores.
