Hey Nerdy, I hope all is well with you. Thanks so, so much for all that you do for TOD’ville.

It’s something really special about that picture of FLOTUS (Michelle Obama) looking through Patrick Dougherty’s Shindig at the Smithsonian’s Renwick Gallery and I can’t express it because it speaks for itself. Thanks for sharing. 👍👊👌

I just got home from a fabulous birthday lunch. I’m very proud to share a birthday with Stevie Wonder!!

I LOVE this exhibit and that our FLOTUS chose to share it with her guests. Is there anyone who can beat our First Lady when it comes to her giant and generous spirit?? NOPE!!

I’m hoping we’ll get a peek at the State Dinner later…………

A Republican senator and his beloved conspiracy theory
    05/13/16 04:30 PM—UPDATED 05/13/16 04:33 PM
    By Steve Benen
Sen. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.), who’s up for re-election this year, has an incentive to appear as moderate and level-headed as possible. He is, after all, a Republican running in a pretty blue state, sharing a ballot with Donald Trump in a presidential election year. The circumstances have made Kirk arguably the Senate’s most endangered incumbent.

And yet, the GOP senator just keeps making bizarre comments. Politico reports today:
U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk hasn’t let up on his insistence that President Obama is using his power as president to lash out at a political enemy.

At a fundraising event last month in Chicago, the Illinois Republican can be heard on audio defending indicted New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez, a Democrat, while accusing Obama of targeting Menendez because of his stance on Iran.

According to a recording Politico obtained, Kirk told his audience, “And let me say something about Bob Menendez. I believe that Bob Menendez was indicted solely on the crime of opposing the president on Iran.”

It wasn’t an off-hand comment: the Illinois Republican has pushed the same conspiracy theory over and over again.

That man’s psychological development just stopped at puberty… no, right before puberty.

Hey Dudette, I agree that BuffoonTrump development stopped at puberty. However, his main attributes from puberty are narcissism, vainglory and access to $$million-dollars.

Early on in his life, he bought$$ the souls of other people including executives in Network and Cable media. Just saying.

My beloved Nanny Ellen was a Swedish immigrant.(born 1886-1987) She worked as a cook until she married my grandfather. I love that the the WH chef paid homage to the Scandinavian spice, cardamon. I love lingonberries, hard to find, tasty little tarticles. Nanny Ellen baked bullas (Swedish sweet rolls) every week and the house smelled of cinnamon and cardamon. Nanny lived with us growing up and I was so blessed to have her wisdom and skills in my life. I love that this WH is so aware of other cultures and shows its respect in every way.

A woman and her seven adult children stepped forward Friday to claim a $429.6-million Powerball jackpot.

Eight members of the Smith family announced that they had the sole winning ticket purchased in Trenton for last Saturday’s drawing. They plan to tithe 10% of the money to their church.

One of the daughters said the family matriarch spent $6 for two tickets for drawings held last Wednesday and Saturday. They have hired attorneys to help them with the money and will take a trip to the usual family spot, though they wouldn’t say where that was.
    Not Chris Christie…. 😉
