      Pf, we must pray that tens of millions of Americans remember that injunction on November 8. It will be in all of our hands to to ensure that America continues to be. If we fail–our country will be lost.

      Thanks so much for posting this here, Pf. I hadn’t seen it earlier. So glad the President was at the Pentagon for the remembrance, as I’m sure those in the audience were.

    Thank you, Nerdy!

    My deepest sympathy and prayers for all those who lost loved ones on 9/11, and were injured.

      Me to Ian! Initially, I was not a strong supporter of Hillary, but I have really grown to like her because of her intelligence, courage, and sheer determination. Any one, no matter the age, can come down with pneumonia. With antibiotic treatment it can be successfully treated without leaving any debilitatingor lingering health problems.

      • September 11, 2016 at 11:27 pm

        …and the media made fools of themselves jumping on the Hillary Illness Bandwagon. She has probably gone up a notch in the eyes of many and more people are taking notes of the double standard and negative treatment she has been getting.

        I guess facts, research and confirming information is no longer a considered a necessity of good journalism.

          ” I guess facts, research and confirming information is no longer considered a necessity of good journalism.”

          Exactly, Swbluega. Our so called mainstream media are no longer a source of factual information. Sometimes it’s difficult to tell the difference between the so called mainstream media (MSM) and the Tabloids. Like the Tabloids, most of the MSM are into peddling sensationalist stories.

      Exactly, Bella. I had walking pneumonia 3 years ago and I am still around. Actually, what happened is that I had a bad cold that I did not take seriously and I ended up with pneumonia. Antibiotics and rest was all I needed.

    Had family visitors for half the day, and somehow managed not to see any political coverage all day … I consider that a plus up (especially to have missed Trump and Guiliani, trying to be the story of 9/11). Did watch the film United 93 yesterday, and thought about all those lost on this date, 15 years ago – and their loved ones. They are the ones who shouldn’t be forgotten – among all the other details, some of which will fade with time.

    But the “breaking news” all day has been about HRC getting overheated and finding out that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia. And most likely, the MSM will be calling in all their “experts” to give their opinion(s) so that this gets drawn out another two or three days.

    #YesWeMUST …. because the very survival of civilization as we know it depends on defeating Trump/GOP on 8 Nov 2016 … You have no idea how I wish that statement was hyperbolic but, in fact, it is hard cold reality … humanity has survived mega-tyrants before, but NEVER one with access to the LARGEST NUCLEAR ARSENAL on the planet.

    Sec. HRC should rest for a few days and recover;

    I wonder what the media & right-wingers will say if her excellent back-up team (PBO, FLOTUS, VP, Dr. Biden etc.) comes on the campaign trail earlier than had previously been planned.

    Together with WJC & Sen Kaine, who are already on the trail, all the battleground states could be covered each day.

    Dems have a full bench waiting in the wings

    and just for good measure, out comes the #BernieOrBurst people celebrating the fact that Sec HRC is not feeling well.

    if one did not see it for themselves, one may not believe that some #BernieOrBurst are even celebrating with the same or more vitriol that the #BasketOfDeplorables;

    this has been a very revealing election cycle

    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/09/opinion/the-conscience-of-the-contrarian-voter.html?partner=rssnyt&emc=rss&_r=0

    A voter of conscience, in a normal year, could go for Johnson and feel O.K. about it. But this year, in a tight election, any vote by an independent or a Democrat for Johnson could burden that citizen with a lifetime of guilt for handing the world over to Trump. His presidency could “lead to the end of civilization,” as his own ghostwriter, Tony Schwartz has said.

    Commendably, Johnson has stopped using pot during his run for the White House. “I want to be completely on my game,” he says. But too often, he offers the stoner shrug when asked what he stands for, saying you should just Google him. When you Google him, you’re likely to find something about pot and Googling him.
